You guys have become a part of my daily routine. I watch your videos with my morning coffee. As a musician, music has always been a huge part of my life. I have been stuck in such a deep, dark place mentally and emotionally. So much so that I couldn’t even listen to music. At all. I felt like I was empty for the longest time. So I want to thank you both. Watching your videos daily has felt like you’ve reached your hand into a dark hole and helped pull me out slowly. You guys introduced me to Sleep Token a few months ago. I instantly connected to the boys. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m listening to music again. I’m feeling again.

This is Corey screaming the way "you're not supposed to." lol This is my favourite album of all time and even though it's not healthy, you cannot top real screams vs air and vocal fry. You just can't. There is a raw element to this album that doesn't exist in the others and it makes it completely different. Most Slipknot fans think Iowa is THE album, but nah....the self titled absolutely smashes the others. I love the others, but this one is special. I was converted to metal by this album at the age of 15. :D My only ick is when they had to change the track listing because of Frail Limb Nursery + Purity. I realize it's copyrighted, but damn I wish they could've worked something out to keep it.

Corey's voice is so vastly different on this album and Iowa because he was wrecking himself. He wasn't taking care of his voice and the change happened on V3 because he completely blew his voice out.

We've addressed this many times this passed week. I (Kyle) was on a business trip when the song dropped. Until I am full time RU-vid, this is the situation we get to work in. Also, we can't record reactions again until Thursday due to life and availability. If we could've gotten it out to you all already we would have. I know yall are doing the sleep token trilogy, but theres another artist with an amazing trilogy, Melanie Martinez, shes a really weird alternative pop artist, shes getting really big, yall should start her trilogy, I love her latest album Portals, but she has such an amzing story told throughout the 3 albums, and you guys are lyric people, and her lyrics are good! The first two albums nearly destroyed Corey’s vocal chords because he was screaming VERY wrong. His screams sound different on Vol. 3 because he learned how to do it the correct way, and has only perfected it since then.
