Man I Finally got a ps5 and got the game like a week ago lol. I played the AI for a while then went to quick match and it's basically all losses 😅. Not even thinking about ranked yet. Close fights, but still. I guess I need to give online career mode a shot since the competition seems to be a lot lower! 😂
I agree with your comment on laggy players having the advantage. I used to be laggy af on ufc 3 and I learned to use it. You fs get used to it to an extent knowing when it's safe to unblock or when to sneak in a big strike. Depending on the lag you can just block on reaction and go full on offensive when that isn't possible without it unless you are just gifted at the game lul
Hi marshall, game dev here with kickboxing background Ea doesn't add the gloves because it's ultimately not profitable for them. Granted, although it makes more sense, more people would use an shogun helmet than boxing gloves

Most people that play Online Career do suck, yes. One challenge you can give yourself is to prestige your fighter and try to use them. Thats the most challenging thing about the mode.
If only they kept game face this game mode would actually be amazing, it'd be another ultimate team basically. But they fucked that idea, that's why the mode isn't as played it's boring. For old players it's the same, ultimate team but the worse version, samurai's and pandas. Not people, and badass cafs.
And for those who disagree, you mustn't of been apart of that time or something is wrong with you, haha. Because it made the game fresh, you never saw the same caf over and over again, they all looked uniquely different (despite the lack of beard and hair at the time, if they added more it would've made the creation zone even better as well a a HUE option). It felt so fresh and some people made some amazing realistic cafs using game face, as it took a scan of whatever face you scanned and if you had a high definition photo, your game face would turn out beautifully. I miss that shit man, and seeing people unique creations. Now you see the same old cafs from them times, same models etc.. (people who didn't use game face would use the ones we see today, the default career mode cafs you fought and seen fifty thousand times..)
Martial mind needs to remind them, game face!! Remember the mind blowing tool everyone loved (despite the people who were too silly to figure it out, fair enough but that doesn't mean you RUIN IT FOR THOSE WHO ENJOYED IT.)
And before someone says you can still create yourself or others using the game tools, stop it. you can if you wanna spend hours tryna figure out which head looks like yours and molding it with an outdated system. That's what made game face amazing, it helped get the resemblance down and the tools in the game helped you shape it to look right. I don't wanna spend hours tryna make a look alike, when that is a thing.
