I own a “handyman service “ . I use almost , all of the FLEX TAPE/ SEAL products . The products for real , do as advertised. Their durability is top notch to other repair remedies. I’ve been sold on this product, since it was introduced to the world . Thank you Flex Seal for a amazing product .
The product was 100% sold to me when a bunch of woodworkers casually patched resin leaks using it 😂 so rare to have good products nowadays. Almost makes me wish I did work that would require anything from them
This guy is wholesome , he congratulated the reporter on their success and said he was happy when he had the opportunity to brag about his business like others do.
He didn't go far from land though, and I'm willing to bet there were stages of finalization and repairs before getting the money shot. Still, it's impressive.
@@joewoodchuck3824 yeah, I bet. But I grew up in Florida, and the first time I hit the water up north in the middle of July, it was a shock how cold it was.
@@YouVSMeTV I lived in West Palm Beach a long time ago, and have been to the Caribbean several times, so I know what you mean. I'm in Connectishit, so I know that water, and I've been to Maine where the water is noticeably colder than here.
have you ever used a chain saw before just because the motors on dosent mean the chain is moving their is a trigger to activate it which wasnt pulled at the time
Im just imagining one guy being rejected by the girl he has a crush on and just phil swift comes out of nowhere saying to him "Now that's a lot of damage"
To Phil Swift and everyone - I live in a multilevel home and for years I've had troubles with my bathtub leaking when you took a shower. I seen the flex-seal commercial and decided to try it on my bathtub as a seal around it and the wall covering. I am here to tell you for over 3 years it's been on there and not one leak! This stuff works!
3 years ago we had an emergency leak of the moderating water pipe for a nuclear plant and we were able to apply flex seal, and stop the leak immediately. So we never had to SCRAM the reactor. NRC inspector was impressed.
@Cockstruction Worker it doesn’t straight up make him ghetto but yea I see your point but at the same time you shouldn’t care how people talk and understand how there’s different cultures around the world and accents
I like how inside edition is always extra af lol. Get a team and professor from an engineering school just to slab flex seal on chicken wire, then get a “master carpenter” to slice a barrel in half and slice a hole in it lol.
I bought a used 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Fabric Convertible. I bought it for real cheap because the convertible top was leaking when it rains. Upholstery and auto shops was trying to charger me thousands to replace or fix it. But I decided to go to Home Depot and bought flex seal and some paint rollers and I painted a thin layer of flex seal on the whole fabric convertible. I tested it out 2 days later by going through a car wash and I had no leaks! And the convertible was still flexible to have it go up and down. I spent like $40. And the convertible top looked brand new. If anyone got a leaking fabric convertible top, I recommend using flex seal!
Phil Swift is one of the best guys on the internet, glad to see Inside Edition make videos like these. They really do put in a lot of effort for less than 3 minutes of outstanding content.
love how Phil doesn’t “exaggerate” like any other infomercial. It really makes his company seem honest. And honestly, if I ever need strong tape or something, I’d totally buy from flex tape.
I have absolutely no need for any of the Flex products, but for some reason when I see the infomercials, I want to just go and buy everything that they sell.
I 100% agree. I have no use. I bought a can as a joke. Then i decided to paint my car rims black with flex seal. Looks great! My moms car hood was peeling paint? Flex sealed the whole thing. Did it chip? Sure. To fix? Just a quick spray.
Now one bit was overlooked here...the finished price of the wire mesh boat covered in the most expensive paste Home Depot sells...I am guessing that boat ran them around $2-3 thousand dollars if they paid full price. One could easily have purchased a completed equally sized boat for that price...but not even close to as much fun!

I waterproofed a not waterproof electric scooter with flex tape and flex seal (used seal where I couldn’t get the tape like small areas), and I have ridden the escooter through heavy rain storms, just about every deep puddle I could find, and even washed it with a hose, and the escooter still works perfectly. The stuff works, rarely do “as seen on tv” products work, but this stuff really does.
The flex-seal salesman guy that’s on the commercials, bought my moms house in Southwest Ranches, I met him and his family he’s a nice guy, some parts of the commercials were even filmed in the backyard Lake. It’s 10 Acres.
The price is the only real draw back to using this stuff lots. The price you payed to cover that boat is probably more than an actual boat would have cost.
I have used flex seal spray on a few things. I have galvanized chicken waterers and the seams sometimes leak after a few years. I sprayed all the seams on the outside and they hold water. I also have a large, (like 15 gallon) rubber rub you find in farm stores. Sometimes they crack after being outside and few years. I also sprayed it on the outside and it's holding water for my ducks.
Lets be honest, we were all waiting for another flex tape video from inside edition. Especially the hardcore dads that patch things with a sheet of metal and nails
