It depends if you prefer more competitive nerf or not, but I personally think that 130-140FPS is the sweet spot between performance and fun; it's low enough that you're not being beamed and it's not painful, but high enough that you're able to actually reliably hit your targets at reasonable ranges without having to run up extremely close to whoever you want to hit.
That's fair. I can hit targets very easily with blasters like the Nexus Pro X though (as mentioned in the video) something like that isn't appropriate for absolutely every consevable circumstance and I'm tired of people pretending it is.
In my experience, it depends on the field. More CQB is perfect for small but 200 FPS and stuff is great for longer ranges AND CQB but that’s only if you don’t mind the pain
Well, if you're a backyard engineer making custom 3d print blasters, there's always comfort, usability, durability, fun gimmicks... but hitting things as hard as possible is too tempting to resist! Can't blame people making blasters to hit as hard as possible, that's probably what I'd do if I were making custom blasters 😂
Within first fiddy subs woo! I dont think fps matters, however accuracy does. I nerf high velocity but thats my preference not an objectively superior way to nerf.
That's fair. Accuracy is definitely one of the most important aspects of Nerf. If you can't hit what you're aiming at, you're unlikely to have fun playing.
I think 100-120 is the most fun bcs 100 you still get stock nerf in the thunderbolt and n series & 120 you get gems like the venom pro modded elite blasters Nexus pro X w/ low power spring and aeon pro X w/ low power spring and the and nerf rival so fps does matter too high and it hurts and isn’t fun too low like elite or buzzbee you aren’t hitting anything so 100-120 is the sweet spot for performance
