I love the take on Wunder, honestly as a fan I was unsure how to react to the signing, I wasnt fully aware of the Adam drama and was fully expecting him to be back for spring. But honestly now I'm quite happy we brought Wunder in to solidify the top lane with a presence that can weak side and be a huge factor in team fights. Loved watching his Akali earlier in the split.

Theres always talks about leaders but theres rarely a time that a co-captain is talked about. A plane is flown with a pilot and copilot, a chef has a sous chef etc etc. A second voice is just as important as having a leader and often times makes a leader even great. G2 with Perkz and Jankoz was a great example of this, you can debate who was the leader but it was well known that though they often didnt see eye to eye on how they played the game they did respect each others decision.
Talking about Jg champ pools, why is Poppy not higher in prio in EU or NA ? She does well into lee, Xin, J4 individually. She stops them in team fights. I think proactive poppy ganks in pro play may need hexflash or some high iq play, but still.
@@kklap3219 Olaf and poppy do two completely different things. But because you probably don't know poppy has 37 games across lpl and lck. While in eu it's 2 and na is 6 counting lockin. The massive difference in a Champs picked between east and west is always weird.
Dom's prediction for MAD Lions was 5th place; with Excel and Misfits fighting for 6th and 7th. Instead Misfits have heavily overperformed thanks to MVP Vetheo and an improved looking Neon. And Excel upgraded by buying poor abandoned Mikyx. To me it just makes sense MAD would be the ones to get booted out into 7th given what Misfits and Excel have done this split. They're underperforming to be tied with SK at 5 wins but I don't think they're underperforming to be 7th because taking 2 rookies especially in pivotal roles like Mid and ADC is always risky. If MAD wants back into the Top 6 I'd be looking at replacing Reeker with Lider. Reeker isn't terrible but I think it's safe to say Lider would be an immediate upgrade unless Reeker starts playing a lot better.
As a G2 fan, I have to admit I have been underwhelmed this entire season by their wins. I agree with Dom. It’s like they don’t know how to win the game. It’s crazy to think because Jankos and Caps are veterans of the old 2019 roster and you’d think they’d get better but the shot calling just isn’t there. I’m still hopeful for playoffs but still underwhelmed. 🥺🥺😔
I said it before and I will say it again. Caps and Jankos are supportive players, who need direction to trigger plays. You can't have a core without a trigger happy player, as you then gamble on getting a playmaker. So G2 really had to bite the bullet and get a player that is known for agression, like Bwipo/Selfmade/Lider/Perkz/Humanoid/Upset/Hylisang. As we can see, they did not get a fully developed playmaker this last offseason, so it is not a surprise that G2 oftentimes look dead in the water. Worst of all with that is , that most likely all the knowledge to make the correct decisions is there, there is just no one who pulls the trigger to actually make plays. So until G2 fixes that, they will have massive problems.

1 word as to why Jinx hasn't been nerfed: Arcane. Same reason why certain champs immediately get compensation buffs, but others are left to rot for years.

It's because mad lions is already expected to win because of their legacy as opposed to misfits who were given more time because as a team or an org there was less pressure put on them

I don't think vetheo carries that game without a yuumi and g2 throwing absurdly, he played akali well but like for fucks sake he got spoon fed kills, super minions, a baron and a cat. As well as he played it, I think any competent akali player could've done similar shit to g2 the way they played the mid/late game fights and map.
The reason why Jinx is doing so well is in part because of the Teleport changes. The lane phase lasts a lot longer than it used to, which gives Jinx more time to scale up. Until these Teleport changes happened Jinx was rarely played in pro.
@@LegendaryBilly Jayce and viktor were meta before arcane. Only jinx came back with some slight buffs and LT changes, but she already was picked here and there, the same way graves suddenly became a priority pick in top, he has been good for over a year. What you are implying is just not there.

Noone will ever be able to explain to me why Dajor and Reeker, Xmatty, Jezu, ... are playing in LEC while LIDER and Crownshot are chilling in ERL / streaming. I swear these GMs see a guy who could be the 7th best Orianna / Jinx player in LEC at his peak and sign him because he's such a talent. Remember VIT last year with LIDER? The one that got to playoffs in summer within 3 months of playing together? Took Fnatic (who went to the finals that year to 5 games? Yeah, nah I'm sure these 19 year old superstars will all become the next faker.
@@andersphilipsen4352 It could but what's the point of having a 20+ million asset (LEC slot) if you're not willing to invest 100k to get from 10th to 6th at least and get your brand out there. Orgs like Astralis and SK are actually pulling down the value of being in the LEC because everyone should realize by now players, investors and sponsors would all rather smurf in LFL and get 5x the viewership than being such a waste of time as every Astralis game with 0 fans behind you.
I didnt know reeker before lec but many lec players considered reeker to be rookie of the split so i guess they value him highly. He doesnt play good enough but mayby there is the potential to be the best? Just a random thought
Funny, I actually thought today about how useless these vod reviews seem to be. Like even if you would never do the same mistake again, how likely is it that you will ever end up in that same situation again, especially if it‘s in super late game? Probably zero.
It's helpful for players that are lower level at the game. For example a gold player doing a vod review can be extremely helpful realize concepts in the game.
There are specific situations, but broad stimulations can lead to broad concepts that can shift your entire Teamplay up a notch. It's just that looking wow you did that wrong there and here is useless, vod reviews should always be about synergy.
I have to say, I'm starting to question more and more the narrative that Perkz is a "great leader". There is no denying that at G2 he was the mastermind but he was already well established in the org (veteran status) and he was surrounded by people who, although extremely talented, were pretty quiet. Jankos is loud but he isn't so willing to lead. On top of that he was respected has one of the most gifted players so those players easily accepted being lead by him. But then he went to C9 and it didn't seem that he was the leader of that team. He was the new guy and people like Blaber and Fudge are pretty strong minded/vocal. Plus his performance was underwhelming so he couldn't lead by success. And now he is in a roaster filled with not only excellent mechanical players but also people who have a clear idea of how THEY want to play aside from Labrov. And here again, his personal performance has been lackluster. Listening at some of their coms, it doesn't feel like he is the mastermind. And that's fine he isn't now or later in the future but like Caps' personal talent to be godlike in the midlane, his leader isn't some plug and play shit you guys are making it to be. For comparison, I'm pretty sure what happened to G2 and Perkz is happening right now with Misfit and Vetheo. If you ask any of the players, they are going to tell you that their leader is Vetheo. Although he is also a pretty quiet guy, he is leading by example (inside and outside the game) and he is surrounded by people who are even more quiet than him. So yeah to me, Perkz being a leader similar to Michael Jordan is something I don't buy
I think we can all agree, NA is just better than EU this split whether it's a comparison of the whole league 1-10, or a top 3 teams vs top 3 teams of each respective region, even bottom 3 versus bottom 3, NA wins out in every way possible. Hope EU sort some things out and become competitive again.

No, why do you think G2 was good? it was Perkz who lead the team always shotcalling and making sure the team was focussed every day. You will notice this if you've seen enough G2 content since they entered the EU LCS. Now that he has been to NA he has become trash but he will recover in a year hopefully.
