Does Georgia Have a NIL and Money Problem? 

The entire college sports landscape is completely unsustainable now with NIL. I love Georgia football but I will NEVER EVER pay players to play for my team. The asking for cash will never end. The school made $51.3 million last year off the SEC tv contract alone. It’s beyond ridiculous and frankly insulting to be passing the buck on to fans here. We already pay enough just to watch the games on tv and/or attend games in person.

Lots of teams are having trouble switching from illegal payments to legit payments. I'm convinced that having it all above the table is the reason Saban retired.

Georgia boosters traditionally have been cheap. Until the SEC Network money, we spent less than every program in the SEC on football and football facilities.

Tennessee and ELITE sounds a bit strong. In what context? Just the football program or the school as a whole? Elite as in just being a big name brand school? Or?

Michigan's fanbase can explain really quickly what happens when you think you don't have to play the game. Money is involved its not going away UGA will play ball.

I’d say that Ohio state is doing pretty good with nil. They are getting whoever they want.

Yeees yeeees FINALLY... why on earth is the NIL $$$ coming from fans and donations??? Nooo the whole issue was man these University's are making millions upon millions off these athletes and they get none of that revenue just a education and maybe a small cost of living check... the main argument for NIL was the schools making these exorbant amounts off tv contracts blah blah the players deserve their fair share... not let's go terrorize our most successful alumni and residents in this never ending one-upmanship that only a few can even play and really none can or want to sustain. This has always bugged the shit outta me but anytime I brought it up... oh well u against athletes getting paid... no he'll no I'm not. Does it need to be capped and controlled... absolutely or this is gonna develop into 3 to 5 schools being soooo far above all the rest ... it's that now basically. I don't understand how folks didn't forsee and set all this up to where it was a reasonable and sustainable business model ... same rules have got to apply and be enforced throughout the entire sport... no state laws ... nope all or get out.
