Derek Hudnall did a side by side test live, wired 12v and 16v on his channel. Plainly shows no difference. Bass fisherman just like spending lots of money because the spending is what gives them confidence not the baits or equipment.
From what I've seen, poor connections at splices and termination points cause more issues than anything else. Keep connections clean and tight, and make sure your power source is healthy and you shouldn't have any issues. As long as there isn't an excessive amount of voltage drop, the issues with clarity are probably from your display settings.
This is one thing I disagree on. I DO believe the higher voltage provides a better image, just not as much of a difference as some people think or expect. Compare a $500 65” TV to a $2,000 65” tv…… the cheaper tvs Never come with an external power supply w/ a dedicated GROUND. The nicer tvs come with a dedicated ground AND a higher power output to the TV
