It’s the on-going story continuing to dominate the headlines. In a public show of support at the Bahrain Grand Prix on Saturday, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell was papped packing on the PDA with husband Red Bull Chief Christian Horner, after he was cleared of wrongdoing in a team investigation. But behind the scenes, things may not be so picture perfect, after rumours of alleged message leaks involving a female member of staff reportedly ended in an ultimatum from Geri. It got us thinking more broadly about relationship ‘text-iquette’. So, would you call it quits over inappropriate messages? Or can true love recover from a tantalising text to someone else? Our very own agony aunts, Deidre and Vanessa, will be giving their take.

I caught my wife sending messages and photos and videos to another man whilst I was 10 feet away ill in bed, i was devastated...she lied and lied until i showed her the videos...she said it was all a mistake NO it wasn't it was a choice

My wife cheated on me during my chemotherapy and cancer surgery. We were together 30 years and had 3 boys together. I will take this betrayal to my grave.

Have heard so many stories of infidelity occurring whilst one member of a couple is dealing with serious illness (healthy partner cheating), making recovery by ill person that much more difficult if cheating is exposed or confessed to early in recuperation.

Being in relationships makes people absolutely pathetic. Accepting behaviour they would never entertain had they witnessed it as single people. My ex was such a lying horrible gas lighting cheating manipulator he put me off relationships for life. Nothing beats the peace of mind of being single and knowing no one can hurt you or have power over you lie to you or betray you. ❤

What do you expect from someone who can do this to someone. He’s shown he has no morals if he can ever do that, so it’s a pattern. He’s a cheater and that’s that. She should’ve never touched him with a barge pole

Ha ha I love that old woman saying after her old man was caught 2 times with his pants down, that after bit of work on the relationship they went on to have 35-40 happy years, no my love he just got better at hiding his affairs and you just got deeper into your denial. When its over, its over, Geri would do well to consider her choices, she is young, beautiful, intelligent and powerful and will have a successful, happy life without being brought down by this self destructive, vain, shallow excuse for a man.

If it does indeed count as cheating, then I suddenly all these years later feel much stronger for leaving my flirtatious ex who used to get angry with me when I said her flirting with other guys made me uncomfortable and it felt wrong.
