Single shots can still be considered to be like a real shotgun, don’t forget that slug shells are single shots of solid lead that doesn’t spread not all shotgun shells are bird shots
You should do a new series called "Is It Worth It" where you give your opinion if something that is skeptical either be gear or a marker be worth it to buy
I completely agree. Something that's made this well really makes me wish the velocity didn't suck so much. I wondered for a second if it'd work better with green gas, but there's just no way it'd shoot any faster....total letdown :(
Because of your review I went and got one, and then did some dremel and tap work to get it to take a remote line and resprung it to get velocity up to 280 and now it's by far my favorite marker. Thanks for putting eyeballs on these fun guns!
Pretty smart except it would seem that one of those 6mm bbs would throw off the trajectory of the FS round if one of them hits the back fin of the round coming out of the barrel before it has time to Spread
i have the first model the aps cam870 model T ( T = tactical, pistol grip and m4 adjustable stock in this case) it uses the system where you gas upp every shell with co2 or hpa with a loading adaptor. firing speed from barrel single shot is around 85 m/s, it has a aluminium barrel but you can still shot for example .68 cal paintballs including first strike rounds, and 6 mm airsoft rounds including the paintball version and if you whant to go a little more destruktiv you can use 4.5, 5.5 and 6.35 mm steel bb`s but you will wear down the barrel faster unless you can make a custom made Remington 870 steel barrel fit on the gun, then it is rock n roll!
@@m6dspartan903 I love my 870 but at the same time I hate it. The quality of Remington dropped like crazy you either have to buy an older one or a Police model because they are made in a different factory with better quality control. My Remington 870 has given me several problems that you'd never ever get with a mossberg 500 and if you did mossberg would immediately fix it in a heart beat or send you parts to fix it. Mossberg you can blow one of their shotguns up from abusing it and firing like a 45lc from a 410 shotgun and they'd fix or replace it. Lol You can take a maverick 88 and buse the fuck out of it til you break something, call them, tell them you broke the gun from abusing it and they'll send replacement parts in the mail. Lol

@@m6dspartan903 It's a problem with their quality control since they were bought it. Remington isnt Remington anymore. They were bought out like 10 years ago or some shit.
Pat Best there isn't one I think the reason for that is because it was made for cqb indoor airsoft and I think most airsoft gun you can't change the velocity
I used this for paintball and worked very well. It was for my brothers party and I was lent this gun by a ref ( sounds like bull crap I know) but we dominated the enemy team, and I didn't die once in spite of many close quarter engagements.
Would be a great dorm home defense shotgun. Pepper ball in the chamber and 2 in the tube, 3 solid nylon defense rounds. That would definitely do some work. (In places where a standard shotgun isn't the best option) personally I'm choosing my 12 Guage with Winchester superx 00. But I could see this being a decent defense weapon if need be. 🤔

ahaha! Funny. Finally a positive one for MCS. I think they deserve it. I would personnaly find another technology for the air and some way to chrono it If I were them. I am curius to know what you would say about a 468 or PTR, because they seems to be THE magfed marker actually.
I own a 468 (2016 model) and I can say that I've had issues with air leaking from multiple areas, however with about 10 minutes and some plumbers tape/seal I was able to patch every leak (some threads just needed a little extra sealant because of winter). Amazingly reliable as all parts are able to be worked on without tools. Lokbolt is sick because I've never chopped a ball even when they are as soft as gum drops. Idk about the PTR price but the extra upgrades for the price don't seem worth it. Regular 468 is the better way IMO for price/use.

Fun that you called the brass/shellcatcher a scrotum. The Swedish military used a similar for years on their rifles and smg's, it was widely called "elefantpung" = Elephant scrotum.
I think that using this paintgun against other unique designs such as the Goblin, the HDR50/TR50 .50 caliber revolver, or their HD Double Barrel shotgun, or any of the lower capacity pistols, revolvers or bolt-action rifles sold or built by players. These types of markers are slower to reload and of lower capacity placing them at a disadvantage when used against hopper fed semis, pumps or Magfed markers as primary guns.Their unique designs make them interesting and fun to play with, but they will probably take the role of backup guns or a field might consider specialty games where everybody can use such products against each other on a more level playing field. I think this would make for an interesting yet fair game for the players and they can more fully enjoy these types of paintguns.
I think the biggest thing putting me off of this is as cool as the shell ejection looks the shells are not cheap and they'll easily get lost and i don't want to be scrambling around looking for them after every shot in a game but apart from that I really want one
Zachary Mcginnis Yeah I saw that and while that solves the problem it ruins how cool the ejecting shells look but there's no way round it it's one or the other
The only issue I've got with this one are the shells. Finding those again even on a speed ball field would be a royal pain in the ass, and hell forbid someone steps on one.
I feel like this would be super effective in a paintball game. If you are effective at using a shotgun and you know how you could do some damage with that thing.
If I could get one that would load a shell that had 3-4 .50 cal paintballs and fired that load at around 200-250 and was powered on a 13ci in the stock, I'd be into it.
If you take the primer out of empty shotgun shells, would they work too? Once the shell is used and the primer is out it looks alot like the shell you held up
I've been thinking about getting one of these for awhile to use in paintball and to try to get into airsoft but I'm just not shure if any paintball field would me use this

Alright, Firstly, the wad is the plastic cup that holds shot, or BBs in this case. Secondly, Sabot is pronounced 'Sāy-boe'. Third, Sabot is a type of slug, or large singular bullet for a shotgun, as opposed to bird, buck, or target shot. (Shot is what we call the varying sizes of metal balls loaded in a shotshell. In the wad.) Addendum: Sabot slugs are actually different from normal slugs, in that Sabots have a wad in each shell, much like shot does. Typical slugs don't have any wad at all.
Im using Madbull PB XM-4 in my underbarrel grenade launcher as "shotgun". 4 Paintballs fit in a row inside the Shell and when you fire, those 4 balls spread like a shotgun should. Thats for me the most milsim you can get with paintballs in case of shotgun spreading. This bad boy looks nice but due to the fact it uses CO2 you will have for sure a ton of problems in winter/cold days. Also the fill nipple and the inlet will wear off by time and i didn´t saw you mentioning if they are replaceable. But by first look it doesnt seems like you can and should. Looks cool but why no Airstock, why so much plastic. You can also have Revolver remakes, but besides the fact the drum rolling makes the first 5 minutes fun you will figure out that the barrel is very crappy made and then for such a "beauty" 300€ but on the field totally useless, is a joke.
Co2 is a negative from me. Compressed air has been the standard for a while in my local area, especially at milsim events. If it was compressed air powered, would still need to have cheap & disposable shells (b/c i'm not easter egg hunting after every match) and adjustable chrono up to at least 280ish.
HPA doesnt have the combustion to propel well enough or last as long as it does for shells. With one 20 second charge we got 15-22 shots weather permitting.
Big hunter loads two of the same shotguns, just one is paintball the other isnt, forgets which is which and is in a hurry, he wants to get to his brothers paintball match, his brother he hastn seen forever, they start the match, he runs and sees his brother on the opposite team and shoots him with the real shotgun
