Always loved Kyle, but since his press conferences this year he's reached a whole nother level of brilliance 🤣👌🏼 Besides that, I'm pretty confident all of Jimmy GQ's insta crushes return his DMs.. Matter of fact, they probably slide in his to begin with 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lance, in two preseason games, has a 46% completion percentage and that’s against second, and sometimes, third unit defenses. He maybe ready next season, but he isn’t ready now. If they start him, he’ll struggle and many early picks that were thrown into the fire, haven’t had much success after. The issue is that they’ve put themselves in a bad position, that maybe a lose/lose one. If Garoppolo plays well and this team goes to the SB, then will they replace him with Lance next year? Want if Jimmy sucks, gets yanked and Lance does worse? The only way this turns out well is if they play Jimmy the entire year, they go 4-13, Lance starts next year and they make the playoffs. Big ask for a 21 year old.

Lots of drops and playing in the Jimmy offense (aka don't run outside the pocket or make plays with your feet no matter what). Plus he's had more big plays than Jimmy and has made throws that Jimmy could never make. I'm fine with Jimmy starting, if we're gonna play the stat game it's not like Jimmy's are any better.

@@jonq8714 and you can say Jimmy made throws that Lance couldn’t make, which are those intermediate short throws which are essential in Shanahan’s offense. Jimmy’s 1 INT in the preseason hit his receiver in the hands as well. Jimmy has proven he is a really good, not great, NFL QB when healthy. Good enough for this team to win. Don’t believe that? His record as a starter, 36-12, speaks for itself.

Jimmy G is years ahead of Trey. Jimmy is the best starter for at least 1-2 years. Trey has PLENTY of time to learn the playbook and get ready. Don’t rush Trey. Use Jimmy G as much as possible. Also, he is 36-12 as a starter. 36-12. Only reason he doesn’t have more wins is due to injury. Jimmy G is a good QB, better than any rookie in year one.

The better Mac Jones looks (and he looked GREAT yesterday) the more Kyle Shanahan punishes Trey Lance (and those who forced Kyle to take Trey at 3 instead). I'm sure Jimmy G is happy about that

McCorkle is really good, I don't think Lance is necessarily a better pick long term, it's how you're playing, not this ceiling bullshit, most qbs don't hit their ceiling ever. Brady was never a high ceiling qb yet he will have a better career than Rodgers or Mahomes ever will.

@@TheSECRETeam how do you know he really wanted Mac Jones? Why would he even want him. Jimmy and Mac play the same way and have the same limitations. Why give up a bunch of draft capital to get a guy that may or may not end up being a better version of Jimmy G?
