The Buffalo Bills came up short of a Super Bowl.. again. Buffalo lost 27-10 loss to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Josh Allen finished 25-of-42 for 265 passing yards (26 rushing) and an interception. The Bills QB was in MVP discussions throughout the year, while the team entered the season as a Super Bowl contender. WR Stefon Diggs was also seen yelling at his QB on the sidelines in frustration. Shady... Joe Burrow was the most sacced QB last year in both the regular season and the post season. He was sacced over 70 times and he overcame being sacced 9 times against the Titans and still won that game. That tied the NFL record of most saccs in a playoff game. He was also sacced 7 times in the super bowl which again.. tied the NFL record for most saccs in a super bowl and he almost won it all.

They brought in a lot of new guys this off season even for defense the defense has become ELITE top 2 in my eyes behind the eagles. So it took a while for them to figure it out which is why Joe had a lot of sacks earlier on this season but they’re an elite line now

Exactly! If Dak played the same game like Josh Allen did and got shellacked by the 49ers 27-10, Shady would've ripped him and blamed him even more than he already did (which he did deserve a bulk of the blame since the Dallas defense kept the 49ers in check, and Dak couldn't capitalize on his opportunities), but then Shady then blaming everyone but Josh Allen for the Bills getting pummeled at home is such a double standard, especially when Josh Allen's physical skills at quarterback surpass Dak. You can see Dave just light up as Shady continues to talk. Joy tries to diffuse the situation (saying two different games, like, "duh"), but if Dak isn't getting a pass (doesn't deserve it, obviously) for scoring 12 points on the road vs the 49ers defense, why should Josh Allen get one for scoring 10 points vs the Bengals at home? On this clip even Acho saw Shady's bias and his frustration showed 😂.

Josh Allen kept getting hit because the Bills offense is predicated on Allen holding the ball and then making the spectacular play. He would be below average if he has to read the defense and get rid of the ball in 2-3 seconds. You can't praise him when it works and then not blame him when it doesn't work.

(He has already beaten Mahomes 2 times, which should have been 3 times if the Bills D could have stopped the KC offence from getting in field goal range for just 13 seconds in the divisional round last season.) However, in order for him to do so, he needs another weapon other than Stefon Diggs. Gabe Davis has been inconsistent and has not been a # 2 Receiver for Allen. Joe Burrow on the other hand has a true 1, 2, 3 receiver in that of Chase, Higgins and Boyd. Further Burrow has a very good running back in that of Joe Mixon. If Josh Allen had those weapons he would flourish mainly because he would not have to be Superman and carry the team on his shoulder. This is what leads him to making mistakes. Also, his offensive line did not provide him with any protection in that game against the Bengals. Further, the coaching staff was not very good and does not know how to adjust, especially Ken Dorsey and Leslie Frazier. The only thing that Ken Dorsey knows how to draw up is the deep ball instead of running the ball, taking the check downs or drawing up screen plays. The Bills organization will address these issues in the offseason, thus allowing Allen to dominate and win multiple Super bowls. Finally the Bills lost both Micah Hyde and Von Miller, early during the season. Both of them will be back next season.

Allen wasn't great, but that was certainly not the only reason they lost that game, like people would have you believe.
