Y'all the best surf podcast, people who surf can relate and other nonsurfers are entertained by surf/culture/lingo but more so you guys cover an eclectic range of topics. Respect
Last year I've battled long and hard with addiction. But thanks to you guys, I think I can finally get to the other side and quit soft tops for good ❤️
So this my fav podcast and my jeans are super high and tight. Could we get weekly schedge? I realized that this is currently the only podcast I listen from start to finish.
I believe when you say that life before phones was better in a way but then we wouldn't have discovered you and your podcast, lads, so God bless the phones🙏
@@croatoansounds definitely, I laugh so hard at these cause I grew up watching everything surf culture and all the laird and Kelly jokes kill me every time
On the surface, the the life coach comments were funny. Life coaches are essentially your cheerleader. You list out three goals, short and/or long term and they hold accountable and cheer you along. They don’t actually teach you about life. In fact, most do not know anything about life which is why they became a life coach to begin with. I work in corporate America as a director and my company paid for all senior leadership to have a life coach. They are just cheerleaders without pom-pom.
On life coaches and phony gurus, I heard in a yoga class that we teach what we need to know or learn, and anyone claiming guru status is immediately suspect for any reliable life advice. I love the belt system for surfing, seriously.
You guys make me feel like I'm in the most exclusive gang of cool surf bros ever to exist. I surfed 5 times and sold my collector Hobie long board 10 years ago. Surfing is so fucking cold in my area (Humboldt County Northern California) You gotta be up at 6am checking the surf.... When you're done surfing your hands are so cold that you can't peel your wet suit off. Then when you get to your car, there's a 50% chance someone busted out your windows & stole all your shit. Nothing chill, sunny & relaxing about the beach up here. You gotta really want it. Almost all of our dedicated local surfers are dudes 55 and up.
Hey Lads love ya poddy, although chuck some compression and EQ on the Audio, as volume is constantly up and down and EQ would take some of the farty bass sound out, gets a bit annoying, just a heads ups
Question for the podcast- i saw two rippers sharing a wave and practicing "team" syncronized surfing (or just dropping in on each other) but it was super exciting to watch. Could we see a team surfing league in the future?
There was a mantra we all had in Vietnam as Special Forces and it was "If that is the queerist thing we run into today it's a good day". Somehow I think that is appropriate for this podcast of sorts. I enjoy them but feel weird at the same time.
Any chance of me getting work done yesterday when this new episode dropped went out the window! Hey sterling, you going on any surf trips anytime soon?!! My young boys and I just got back from Oahu last couple weeks ago and we’ve been wondering if you got any plans to get you some
Boards with more width will handle smaller waves better with less skill, bit slower turning harder to manoeuvre. Normal bullet boards has no restrictions other then skill, harder to paddle and to catch waves but easier to turn faster and manoeuvre
YES! I 5x5 19 1/4 Redux with the Kelly face cut out. "Uh I've won like 8 world titles. I date all the hottest super models. I play pebble beach and shit eating pines"🤣🤣🤣
