ko-fi.com/ruephoto Thank you so much to the kind people who have been "buying me a coffee" as encouragement for the time & effort I put into making these videos 🙏
Ah good to see you lapping up lovely Lisbon (and its culinary delights). Good guided tour as always, can't believe you made that walk and steps those steps on that sugary tea, I'd have had to have a lie down after that. That Meia de leite and nata looked mighty fine at the end. Keep em coming mate.
@@LivingWalks Thanks for watching Yvonne & Mike 😊 I couldn't fault any of the food I've had to date in Portugal, ethnic or otherwise! Natas n' Friends appears to be highly rated for their pastéis de nata & I couldn't agree more! The steps helped me improve my cardiac health so they were a blessing in disguise! Have an amazing week my friends 🤗
@@RuePhoto I guess the steps are just what the doctor ordered and at least you felt like you'd earned your nata at the end. We'll have to bear Natas n' Friends in mind when we're next in Lisbon. Hopefully see you in September in Madeira, if that's still on the cards?
Another brilliant vlog from Rue. I thought you weren't going to stop climbing, but I'm glad you made up in one piece. Beautiful scenery and views loved the peacocks beautiful birds. Looking forward to the next vlog thanks again Rue for sharing your journeys with us.
The castle is my favorite place in Lisbon . My father came to America in 1971 . He any grandparents are from xabregas. The castle is where him and his friends would hang out when they skipped school. My grandmother who just passed away lived in loures. I haven’t been back since 97 but one day I will go home .
@@Walterliquori Thanks for watching Walt & sorry for your loss. I'm glad to have evoked some lovely memories of your family & I love hearing such personal history 😊 There's no time like the present to return my friend! May I ask you a favour please? 😁

Loved it Rue! Gorgeous castle, loved the peacocks, especially in full bloom, they sound like cats! Loved the music, clips were funny, great music. Nice to see your apartment from the castle, great location!
@@johnmcdermott4929 You're most welcome John & thanks for watching 😊 I have to say that the Bangladeshi / South Asian area was one of my favourite parts of the city!
@@brucewayne2773 Thanks for watching Bruce 😊 This castle was huge & on the highest point in Lisbon! I've only been to Spain once over a year ago, I didn't get to any castles but headed to a couple of lighthouses as seen in my Asturias vlogs. The food wasn't to my liking much in Northern Spain as there was a lot of pork mixed into it, so I was very limited in my choice. The churches in Iberia are always beautiful of course. There's more food to come in the next episode which leads directly on from where this one ended! Have a great week my friend 🤗
Excellent vlog Rue i really enjoyed the castle with amazing views and Peacocks, was very interesting and all those steps would definitely give you a good workout. Look forward to the next episode.
I really enjoyed this vlog Rue and I'm sorry I didn't join lastnight I was very tired went asleep early my right hand ain't healing unfortunately Lisbon looks absolutely awesome now and the food and that beautiful castle and wow I really love the peacocks and their beautiful feathers aswell thank you so much for sharing your precious adventures with us
@@MrKokajazz Thanks for watching Konstantins & great to hear from you 😊 Sadly the jazz venue I wanted to visit, Theo's stopped their music policy to concentrate on their gastro experience & I didn't look at any further jazz venues in Funchal as I wanted to see more of the natural beauty on the island. However in the lastest episode in my Portugal series, the next one along to this one which came out yesterday, features some street buskers. I didn't really encounter a great amount of buskers in Lisbon as I didn't purposely go looking for music & I was there more for exploring & food experiences. There are however some selcelct jazz venues there I believe. Hope you're well & have a wonderful week my friend 🤗

@user-od2ze4zq3p Thanks for watching Andrew 😊 I'm not sure what you mean by "booring" as I've never heard that term before. I Googled it & it came up in the urban dictionary as rude young man or savage drinking beast; I'm sorry to say I did neither of those acts! Have a wonderful week my friend & do please subscribe to my channel as I'd love you to join me on my journey through Portugal 🇵🇹 🤗
