I didn’t actually explain this 😅 sorry! I’m carrying over the fitness from my Noosa prep so naturally my easy pace has come down a bit anyway. I’m still making sure that they are staying as easy runs. My HR and effort almost stays the same at the 2 paces so I’m really just trailing it out for this block. More quality easy runs (aka faster), but less time on feet.
@@DaveTheRunner makes sense mate I guess the fitter you are the faster your easy pace is. Looking forward to seeing the gains you’ll get from your sensible approach to increasing mileage
Hi Dave great videos and I hope you all the best for melbourne. Just Im wondering if you could make a video where you explain more in detail your macrocycle and how youre planning them also the specifity when approaching to the end of the block (for example more threshold at the end or idk) I think it would be really interesting for us to know about it (if you're doing some conscious macro cycle plan in your prep and not just going by feel and doing the same session as your group) Cheers mate
Thank you 🙏🏻 I don’t actually count marcos and I never have. But I am conscious of what I put into my body eg: protein and carbs. My girlfriend is a nutritionist and helps create well balanced meals for us to eat which is really helpful too! I’m blessed.
