Weekend is tough. Got extremely depressed during the weekend imagining ex might be spending time with someone else doing things we used to do on weekends. Been watching this vid over and over yesterday and today. It really calm my soul. You guys are life saver.

My ex-girlfriend looks horrible and has gained a lot of Weight and is now dating an older man who could be her grandfather LOL. Meanwhile I am in the best shape ever and moving on to a better life. When your ex remains single and goes quiet is when you should worry. I’ll guarantee they are processing the break up the right way and will move on in a healthy way. When they rebound you can assume they are hurting and filling the void. I’ve experienced both where most exes come back from rebound but the quiet and the ones that remain single tend to never return.

Had no clue if my ex gf was going through any struggle, she didn't communicate anything! Ended us suddenly, no warning. We had a great relationship overall.

I think I’m going to invest in the workbook series. I’ve watched a ton of videos and this is by far the best channel I’ve come across about break ups. I probably wouldn’t have made some of the mistakes I made had I found this channel earlier 😅 but I’m in therapy, surrounding myself with loving energy with friends and family, and exploring hobbies I left dormant. I used to work on myself and study love languages and relationships for years before my relationship (my first ever). I fell of during the relationship but I’m excited to work on that again and be a better lover for whoever is next.

My wife ended it after 15 years, we have 1 daughter and she left me to be with another man 2 years ago and I just found out she’s pregnant by the guy she left me for. 2 years later and I’m still traumatized over this😔 I have moved up in life and doing so much better financially and as a man but I still think about the 15 years we had together and how she ended like i never even mattered .

Thank you Coach Craig and Margaret. I just wanted to tell you I have been watching your videos for a few weeks now. I wish you did more for the regretful dumper(me). I missed my ex as soon as I broke up with him. I haven't seen him for almost 3 months and I have tried and tried to reach out but I think he did no contact on me, so I did no contact on him. Because I may have been the one to initiate the break up but he was the one that didn't fight to keep the relationship going and walked away. We finally had a good conversation a couple of days ago. I guess I have my work cut out for me to try and win him back.

Hi. Im a 32 year old father of a ten year old. Its been a year and a half since me and my ex wife separated and i still sit here and cry and miss her so much and think of her daily.

Craig - can you do something that talks more about why they look AWFUL!? I noticed my almost ex husband looks .. just bad. I truly, accidentally came across a photo of him from someone I hadn't yet unfollowed, but I thought he looked bad - heck even our dog looked super grey (anxiety). I feel like I"m doing great and honestly don't really want a relationship at this time. I finally feel free and feel how oppressed I was, constantly feeling like he was going to leave and had one foot out the door. I just am so baffled at why they look SOOOOO BAD as the avoidants?!? Why don't they just return? They thought life was so much better with out us, and it just turns out life is so much better without THEM! I still care about him, which is why I'd love to know why they are torturing themselves.

Love this video, My ex broke up with me and left me for another guy after I found out she was having a affair, we were supposed to get married in a week (cold feet maybe). But I have had no contact for around two weeks now, I have been definitely working on my self.. 💪 getting my confidence and focus back.. the reality is as much as I still love her...I actually dont think I would ever take her back even if she ever contacted me... she would have to be magician with her words and actions for me to change my mind..her loss. I never did the whole begging/pleading/gesture thing... straight after the break up.. I searched on youtube what to do after a break up, found you and several other coaches. And went straight into no contact... currently its been around 2 months, and he messages me about something every 2 weeks... something usually objective.. kinda direct indirect but not leading to much talk after apart from one time.. but.. no contact is working.. even though its small.. he comes around every two weeks with an objective but relevant excuse to message me. My emotions have also calmed and I dont get the anxiety anymore, and I dont cry as much at all.. in fact its been a couple of days since I cried and thats a big deal cos it was at least once a day, sometimes three times a day. And I've started getting along with my life.

Wish I could share some things with, unfortunately - the cost are just too much. I hope in time that someone wil sponsor your program, to help offset the cost to what is affordable., even if you can qualify for grant programs or take insurance - at least co-pays are $20.00 -that's affordable. . Lol . The both of you hit many valid points and inspirational out look as well most importantly - self help. The both of you do share a lot of good information - openly from several perspectives, not just one way. Thank you.. keep up the open and honest approach, the people will love it ..o!!

It depends. Long time ago I was in a 5yr relationship. I was not happy for a host of things that Craig mentioned. When I broke up with her after a 1.5yrs I missed her quickly and asked to get back together but when we broke up for the last time 3yrs later I did not miss her at all, we never got in touch apart a couple of times to sort some beurochratic things but actually I felt a huge relief and even when a few months later was told by a mutual friend that she was with someone else I felt absolutely nothing.

Craig, where is your story about Applebee’s girl. Sounds similar to mine. Is there a video that you tell that story?

My ex husband is remarried and of course on Facebook seems to be living his best life ever. It has been nearly 15 years since he divorced me and I live 1200 miles away. I miss him STILL and I am still single. Thank you for at least comforting me with your words that he may be missing me more than I realize. Is not forgetting enough? Because if they don't forget you and yet never reach out, or come back after 35 years later, when both of you have separate families and have no scope or desire to get back together, what purpose does "not forgetting" serve?

I love the "I miss the cat" theme you guys have, because I KNOW that when my ex calls, that's exactly what she's going to say. We divorced less than a month ago, and I kept our cats, which were the love of her life before she walked out on our marriage.

Errors and flaws are from both, not only one part. This is the tragic situation, that never dialogue about my nd her problems(she got angry, couldnt think logically and made silence as punishment) never reciprocate or compromise , and never taking charge in common over the couple responsibilities.

Well she reached out direct/indirect, I guess! She gave my apartment key back, by using her friend to give it to me.....she ghosted me 4 months ago, I went NC immediately....still hurts that she could never face me to break up with me and couldn’t face me to give me the key back! I'm simply writing this in hopes of some much needed advice, because I'm so confused right now. My girlfriend and I dated for 8 months and dumped me 2 weeks ago (I was completely blindsided by this). She initially told me she fell out of love, but then after going over everything in my head I realized it's because I took her for granted and didn't give enough of my time to her. I apologized for each individual mistake, and said I can fix it and asked for a second chance. I was told "no, I don't have those feeling for you anymore I'm sorry". She still wants to be friends but I cannot do that, I love her too much to be around as a buddy when she finds someone new. I accepted the break up and told her we can't be friends and went into NC. She reached out and I answered in a way where I didn't show emotion and I didn't ask for forgiveness or mention the relationship. Few days of talking on and off, and we met up about 3 times since the break up. Everytime we met up, she'd cry and said she missed me, and she'd kiss me (not in a friendly way, but in what seemed to be a very passionate kiss). I tried to avoid kissing but the chemistry is so strong it's imposible for me to reject a kiss. So basically I'm in a postition where when were together it seems like we're dating, but she says she isn't in love with me, so we're not. She also made a tinder immediately after our break up and I know she still has it as of today which is the last time I saw her. I haven't reached out once to her, she's done all the reaching, when we met up today it was her who asked me out, and like I said we kissed again today, except today seemed to be the most passionate kiss since. All of this said, she says she isn't in love with me, and she intermittently brought up little jabs about how I messed up the relationship while we met today. Basically all I want is some guidance to my situation. Because to me, deep down, she's in love with me and wants me back. However, she says the exact opposite. So her mouth says one thing and her body says something completely different. I just need some advice because I have no idea how to handle these mixed signals. Thanks, hope to be hearing from you.

Why would an ex still be resentful towards you if they were the ones that dumped you due to circumstances outside of your control and are actually engaged even?

My ex broke up with me after 4 years. She reached out to a friend a couple weeks after about some clothes that didn’t exist at my house. I told my friend to tell her they aren’t here but he forgot to tell her. Was that her reaching out or really just asking? Curious.

I’m in a middle of a divorce which I started, but there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about her. I’m told things will be ok, but I can’t see when that will happen. I cry and want to stop the divorce. I think it has gone to far now. I think I made a terrible mistake, but can’t stop it. Don’t think my wife wants to anyway. Wish there was a way to turn off these feelings.

I have the same story as Craig! Me and my ex had a great relationship but after a year, she sniffed something in the air, which I had never raised with her and she said ' I can't see myself being married to you've. I was like wtf? I haven't even raised it. I did give up a good job for her because I didn't want to move away. She freaked when I did that. Avoidant. 6 mths no contact...she is very sad she hurt me, that I know. Just working on myself now. Miss her terribly.

Long distance relationship for two years. He never not reply but really short worded responses. Have I ruined my chances from two texts seperately in two weeks? Restarter no contact but in three days I'm going to London where he lives which was th original plan where we would have been spending time. I have new plans n activities to do for myself continue no contact. I even plan to take my stuffs with his relative (my friend) when he's not at home so he won't know. Do I leave a message or how do I increase my chances....

Like you said. The dumper will be drawn to your growth, but what if the dumper only feels correct in their decision to break up? ( i.e. They see you're doing much better after breaking up and take this as a sign that you're better off without them) does this ever happen?

I know what it means when they don't text you back or takes days or over night but what does it mean when your ex texts back with in say 2 or 3 minutes or less? Is this a dumb question? Does it mean they are feeling ok with the conversation? Thanks

What if you broke up with them first, said we didn't have to talk everyday and wanted to remain friends, then they pull all kinds of strings to pull you back in then you all are on/off for a period of months, then they start seeing someone else without telling you for three months and you are upset because they weren't being honest....... I've been no contact for 2 months.

I deleted her contact but she still messages me once in a while like every 4 days or so I’m not gonna try anything with her though even though I’m very desperate

My girlfriend left me last month, after 12 years, for another, and i did all the mistakes, and last week i went NC, but we have a 11 yo boy, and i had to Pick him up today so i have to have some contact, but anyway, she told me that she had told her new boyfriend, not to be present at pickups and deliveries with the kid, and that he have to Call and ask if he Can drop by, and strangely she also said that she still cares about me, but i acted very cool and composed, and just nodded a little, and when the kid said goodbye to her, she afterwards gave me a hug, and wished me a good week. I Said thank you and wished her the same, but i cant Shake off the thought that she was testing me, to see if i would fall back to my neediness, but i didnt. I just needed to get this of my chest, sorry for my bad english.

My ex and I worked together, but in different departments. We began to talk to each other when her hours changed. She had to clock in at my computer because I was the first person to get to work and had a key to get in the building. Over time, we talked more and more. Until one day, she mentioned her birthday was coming up. I asked if she was going to celebrate and she said no. I asked her out for her birthday and she said yes. We were together 4 months. The breakup was a shock to me. She was coming over to watch a movie at my place and as soon as she walked in the door, she sat on the opposite couch of me and began breaking up with me. She began to cry saying it wasn't my fault and that she doesn't want to break my heart. From that point on, work went from pleasant to dreadful. Somehow, it looked like we were working things out and went on one more date about six weeks after the first breakup. But it quickly fell apart. I'm anxious. She's avoidant. We both began to act childish. I did all the wrong things including a hand written letter. I almost quit my job because I felt she was antagonizing me. Around the same time, little did I know, she put in for a transfer to another location within the company a couple miles down the road. Her last day was my first day of no contact. And I contemplated seeing a therapist. I decided not too. On day 38 of no contact, she shows up at work ten minutes before I leave. I see her, but she doesn't see me. She was there for work related reasons in another department, but she began hanging out too close to my work area for my comfort. I began to get anxious. I was stressing. My hands were shaking. I didn't say anything to her. When I left, I blew up her phone with calls and voicemails. I also began venting on Facebook. She couldn't see my posts, but we each had a common friend and the friend took a screenshot of everything I posted. I pretty much deserved to have that happen for putting it all on Facebook. I've lost my self respect and hate I let her affect me this way. Now I'm irritable, work stresses me out, little things set me off. I don't like being in my house because that's where the breakup happened. I finally set up an appointment with a therapist. My appointment is Tuesday.

Well I know mine doesn't miss me. He.found someone else. Thats Ok it won't last with her either he has a bad.track record. He.is older but not wiser.
