Steve, you totally married up, my man. Jessica seems like she is a keeper and it looks like you guys are very happy together. I have a both Kiesel's and Suhr's and love both of them like they were my kids. Great choices, neither is a bad decision to own in my opinion.
Thank you so much for actually asking her to be in a video. When I asked if she would be in any videos you said you would ask her if she would be willing, and to my surprise you actually asked her and she said yes!! Awesome! Thanks!
As a fellow NY'r, and a married man of almost 20 years, I am so grateful to see a couple in love. Don't ever give up on each other, don't buy the grass is green somewhere else lie, and be jealous to protect and honor your vows...oh, don't go to be angry, and laugh together. As for which guitar, as a guitar player, Steves guitar (at least from what I heard) is more versatile, which I like, HOWEVER, man, Jessica's guitar sounds great, and looks great...so...since happy wife means happy life, Jessica's guitar wins. And Jessica, don't put your lead playing down, you were totally respectable. One final two cents on marriage. My best man gave me a piece of advise before my wedding, which I've held onto every since. He said, he and his wife, early in their marriage, would allow problems to divide them. It was as if she'd be on one side of the table, he on the other, and the problem in the middle, dividing them. He said, they realized they had to both get on one side, and place the problem on the other side, and attack it together. This advise has held true in my wife and I's life. What ever the problem, even when the problem is one of us, we still try and treat it as us against.....the world. Keep rocking...and may the Lord bless you....
Thank you so much for this beautiful advice and for your kind words. It really means a lot to us. God bless you and happy new year ❤❤❤ so happy to meet you
Thanks for a great vid, Steve & Jessica! You're both very fortunate to have talent, and each other, and two awesome guitars. Trying to pick the better guitar is like trying to pick between you two! They are quite different, and they are both the best you can get! Gorgeous tone from both, great features, and both are really good looking. I'd love to hear more of both of them and you!
Thanks Danny! I will see if I can afford to bring her back on! Rrally appreciate the kind words and will pass them to Jess. Hope to have earned your sub!
I'd love to see more of you two playing as a duo like this! Love "Crushin'." Good lead playing, Jess. Hard to pick the nicer guitar of the two. I like the sound of both. Those slim profiles are what I like, too. Love you guys! 🎸🎸🎸
I think you have that backwards. Jessica sings, plays guitar, and has an uber cool guitar! True, she's a winner for sure. But dude is really the winner, let's be honest lol
I've been watching a lot of Keisel videos and been wanting a Keisel, last night I was thinking how cool it would be to have a Old Glory guitar and what do you know, here it is. LOL! 👍🏻 I'm not familiar with Suhr guitars but that blue guitar is beautiful also. Cool factor go's to Old Glory. God bless the USA!
These are amazing! Aesthetically the Suhr is the one I’d pick if I could only have one guitar. The Kiesel is the kind of guitar that’s cool to have if you already have a bunch of guitars. I might feel differently about that if I played them. They sound great and you guys are awesome!
Really cool video. Nice to see and hear Jessica! Here goes: both guitars are very cool. I really like how the Keisel sounds for straight up rhythm playing. But, man, I gotta give the nod to Steve’s Suhr. Mainly because I’m fortunate enough to own one, and I’m absolutely familiar with what great guitars they are. At any rate have a great and successful new year!
Sorry Steve, but gotta go with the good old Red, White, & Blue on Jess's guitar. Both of them sound excellent and no real winner on the sound quality. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the both of you. Here's hoping that 2021 is a much better year for all of us.
Jessica, that guitar is amazing, but you should talk to Kiesel about their new Leia model with a 24.75" scale length. The shorter scale length makes a huge difference with small hands. Or maybe an SCB6 if you need something with a headstock.
Very nice! That Suhr is great looking. The electronics make it so versatile. The Kiesel is awesome, lovin' the flag. They do great work. I'm the same way with guitars, if it doesn't sound good unplugged, no thanks.
Thank Craig! We are so thrilled with both. No contest, we both win LOL unplugged is everything. I wont plug in at a guitar store EVER...unless I am sure I love it
@@SteveSterlacci Same with me, I rarely plug in. I always worry about buying something without being able to play it. But, with Suhr and Kiesel, you get exactly what you want and it'll sound great.
Prefer the look of yours and the sound of hers. Only thing that was perfect was her voice. Frackin' hell, she has a fantastic voice. Great video. Always nice to see a couple who can play music together.
Steve, I can't believe you're even asking the question. Of course she has a cooler guitar than you. Duh. Any other answer results in more slips in the job jar! 😉 Thanks for showing up on one of Steve's vid's, Jess! Finally; Beauty in the barren desert! P.S.: both guit's are way cool, just don't tell 'em I said so.... Come back again sometime Jess, I love your hubby's channel!
Oh, I saw her guitar on the Kiesel YT page a few weeks ago I think, didn't know it was going to be hers. I was like, oh hell yeah, love the flag with the blue jean back pocket look. Sweet guitars for sure!
Sorry Steve, You can't beat an American Flag T-style guitar. American flag wins always. Great video y'all. Looks like you're having fun. Keep up the great work and my wife and I love your channel. God bless America y'all!
Awww so cute you two. 🥰 Did Jessica say you have a no neck profile? Lol. Worlds are colliding! (Seinfeld reference). Apples and oranges, both guitars are great.
@@SteveSterlacci Of course I'm just trying to get a laugh. But I did see a little bit of an edit when she mentioned something about your neck profile. And of course I had to go there.👍
Fantastic video. Need more vids with your wife. Sorry Steve but she wins the competition for sure for coolest guitar. Especially since hers is s Kiesel, and since my main guitar is a Carvin (Kiesel) DC135T, I will always pick Carvin/Kiesel first... but I do love your Suhr for sure. That's gorgeous. Keep 'em coming. BTW, your wife sings great. We know who wears the pants un the family: that's for sure. Love it. All the best. Stephen
@@SteveSterlacci Somehow, I think she got a great deal as well. You guys definitely have something special. If you haven't already, watch "The Longest Ride" with Scott Eastwood. Great film. Great story.
Both sound and look great, personally the Suhr is a little more my style. Great playing to both and great singing to Jessica! Concert you guys did on RU-vid was great too! Merry Christmas
@@SteveSterlacci and to be totally honest, I’m a wood grain guy, so the Suhr is beautiful and something I’d buy. The Kiesel American flag guitar is just so cool though.
This is the smartest guy ! You love guitar .. don’t Mary anyone except a guitarist !! All the others would break your guitars and want you buying makeup for her instead ! Beautiful couple !
You guys really killed it, I am curious to know were Jessica's vocals also running through the helix, and does she prefer the quad cortex or the helix floor for her vocals?
Thanks for checking it out! Vocals just went into a separate channel of the interface I think. I honestly don't remember what we did for this one... i normally only handle the guitar side of things
@@SteveSterlacci you and Jason Sadites are the top dogs doing Helix vids. Both of you kept me from selling the helix because I'm not good with technology and I have no patience! 🤣
@@SteveSterlacci I have a Leia on order. Week 18 and still waiting. My best guitar by far currently is a 21 year old Carvin DC150. I’m interested to see if Kiesel kept up the Carvin tradition of outstanding workmanship.
Your wife makes her guitar sounds awesome. Better than yours. 😆 Seriously... Sounds very clear and balanced with the right brightness for my ears. You make your guitar sounds more modern, more smooth, and your wife make her guitar sounds more vintage, much more alive. Is a perfect match with her voice, and this is a pro trick of you both.
@@SteveSterlacci speaking of go pod people cant wait for a new video with a new patch thanks again, love watching you both, maybe this could be a regular thing Michael
