Oh, also, Polyphia did a song with the guitarists of Chon- the song is called "Yas" its great

Splash is another great Chon song. Also they had some live play throughs on the Audiotree RU-vid channel. It's pronounced like lawn but with a CH sound.

Chon seems kinda cool. Haven't heard a lot of their music though. The only song ive listened to more than once from them is "Potion", which is just like an interlude. Trying to learn it right now actually.

Chon is dope. Much more math rock than polyphia. I like their stripped down Indy style, and complex arrangements. To me polyphia is just the absolute pinnacle of music rn. Everything they put out is meticulously and perfectly composed, and pushes music forward. Chon and animals as leaders are fantastic musicians tho.

This is really complicated music, It's difficult to process or even hear all of the parts when they get going, They individually shine, but they don't blend like Polyphia does in my opinion. Feels very chaotic, like a fractal. I like it though.

I honestly don't love Polyphia. They're overproduced and they make enjoyable music technical. Chon makes technical music enjoyable, which to me is way more appealing. Polyphia is basically just shredding over pop. Not my style even though they're super talented

Huge polyphia fan could never get into Chon. Definitely not the same for me. Yes completely agree with happy jazz lol talented as hell though

No CHON is better
