ok so when I started this pill I gained 20 pounds in a week...I also felt bigger when getting out the hospital for some reason so I knew something was wrong. So I started eating healthy and exercising ALOT. Ive almost lost all the weight ive gained but one day instead of my normal diet I simply drunk 2 cups of orange juice and ate a cup of cereal and was up 5 pounds( NOT JOKING ) 131 to 136. And trust me I don’t eat bad at all. All I drink is water and make sure to count my calories. IVE never had problems with my weight nor worried about. Use to eat whatever I wanted and was never as hungry as I am now. ( I eat 1000- 1500 cals a day btw ) Also had sleep problems but i did fix it with atleast 10 hours everyday. i just wonder if I will have this problem even when im off the pill. its just really hard cuz one mess up and I gain weight like crazy. I go 10miles on my bike everyday + a 1hour at home workout, eating lots of fruit and healthy foods. PLZ RESPOND ☹️

I completely understand. There was a point when I was on the elliptical 1-2 hrs most days only to be baffled at the number on the scale. It has been my experience that when the medication stops, the body may readjust back to it’s normal way of being. But I also realized that the insulin resistance caused by glucocorticoids is why minimizing carbs in my diet was most effective in moving the scale downward.

@@AriD2385 nah the main thing I eat is carbs . I found out I just had to cut out sodium

Bro work out 5-7 day a week and eat salads and chicken and still haven’t lost the belly, always had a six pack naturally.

@@mrb6144 same I still have mine its jus I never had to worry abt what I ate my metabolism was so fast now I gotta worry abt everything I buy and eat

@@juggsasuke is this a forever thing? I work out 5-7 days a week for about 10 months straight, I’m wondering if anyone ever gets there abs back after prednisone? Feel like I’m working way too hard and eating almost nothing

Hey as we know if you gain or loose weight during treatment you'll be on your old weight once the treatment is over so like that will we loose the weight we gained during steroids once its stopped?
