May Allah reward you for giving us the knowledge to face these times and the times that lay before us. I know that you have many critics as I have seen on RU-vid and I can't understand why. اللَّهُمَّ لَا يَأْتِي بِالْحَسَنَاتِ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَلَا يَذْهَبُ بِالسَّيِّئَاتِإِلَّا أَنْتَ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ "O Allah, you bring into existence the good and only you can remove any bad condition, as the power to do good and prevent from evil is in Your control".
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَىٰ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۘ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ ٥١ ﴾[5:51] O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.
فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً ۚ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا لَغَافِلُونَ ﴿٩٢﴾ So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless
وَإِن مِّن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا نَحْنُ مُهْلِكُوهَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ أَوْ مُعَذِّبُوهَا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَسْطُورًا ﴿٥٨﴾ And there is no city but that We will destroy it before the Day of Resurrection or punish it with a severe punishment. That has ever been in the Register.
وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قَالَ آمَنتُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ﴿٩٠﴾ آلْآنَ وَقَدْ عَصَيْتَ قَبْلُ وَكُنتَ مِنَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ ﴿٩١﴾ فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً ۚ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا لَغَافِلُونَ ﴿٩٢﴾ سورة يونس And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims." (90) Now? And you had disobeyed [Him] before and were of the corrupters? (91) So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless (92)
وَقُلْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اسْكُنُوا الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيفًا ﴿١٠٤﴾ [17:104] And We said after Pharaoh to the Children of Israel, "Dwell in the land, and when there comes the promise of the Hereafter, We will bring you forth in [one] gathering."
وَحَرَامٌ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ-﴿٩٥ 21:95 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ وَهُم مِّن كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَنسِلُونَ ﴿٩٦ 21:96] Until when Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend
------------------------------- وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّـهُ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ ﴿٤٤﴾ And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers. -------------------------------وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّـهُ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ ﴿٤٥﴾ And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the wrongdoers. ------------------------------ وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّـهُ فَأُولَـٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ ﴿٤٧﴾ And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient. ٤٨﴾ وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّـهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ أَن يَفْتِنُوكَ عَن بَعْضِ مَا أَنزَلَ اللَّـهُ إِلَيْكَ ۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّـهُ أَن يُصِيبَهُم بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ لَفَاسِقُونَ ﴿٤٩﴾ And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient. سورة المائدة
I'm hoping to get an idea of whether there are actually particular Soorahs that are eschatological or, is the whole Qur-aan so, when studied with the correct methodology?
لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا ۖ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقْرَبَهُم مَّوَدَّةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الَّذِينَ قَالُوا إِنَّا نَصَارَىٰ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ وَرُهْبَانًا وَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ﴿٨٢﴾ [5:82] You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.

I don't agree with the Sheikh's analysis that Gog and Magog will be indestructible. This is just fear mongering. It doesn't make sense. What is the purpose of telling me about someone that I can't destroy? So that I should fear them? When Allah has told us not to fear anyone but Him?

It is the Umaat that must be blamed, and NO ONE ELSE. Because, here is the truth: NO power on earth would DARE to attack any Muslim country, or any Muslims anywhere, if the Muslims were united!! The Taqfiris holler, "AllahuAkbar," and then they chop off a woman's breasts; or cut out an opponent's heart and EAT IT. IMAGINE IT!! It would almost be unimaginable, were it not for the fact that it is actually happening, daily. And what is absolutely astonishing is the seemingly endless number of available Taqifirs!!! The Syrian Arab Army has killed tens of thousands of them. But then tens of thousands MORE arrive in Syria, from Pakistan, Saudi, Europe and even America and other countries. How is this possible!!?? It is a reflection of the ROT of the Umaat. The Umaat cannot, any longer, hide behind, "Oh, that's not Islam!" CRAP!! Stop making excuses!! If you don't properly identify the problem, then the problem will NOT be solved. If you say that the problem is Israel, then the problem will NEVER be solved. The problem is PRECISELY WHAT RASOOLULAH, sallalahu alaihe wa salaam, SAID it would be: "In the Latter Days, there will be nothing left of Islam but its name, and nothing left of Qur'an but its pages." Obviously, he was saying that Muslims would have SUPERFICIAL Islam, and they would not have the teachings of Qur'ans firmly embedded in their hearts. I understand your frustration, this is the time to filter the muslims who will side with The Caliph Muhammad ibn Abdullah Al Mahdi and those who will reject him. And don't listen to everything that your companion (qarin) whisper to you. Everytime you have some new ideas, you have go to Al Qur'an to find the answer. And you are right. Many muslims memorize 30 juz of Al Qur'an without understanding the messages behind it. They don't even master the Arabic, the language that is used as the language of Al Qur'an. Sad, but true. We as muslims should communicate in the language of Al Quran, Allah willed it to be Arabic, but here we communicate through English. So really, shame to US. But in sha Allah it's not too late. We still can have arabic class.
