Ross is cool! It's quite the treasure hunt. You will find gems that you didn't know you needed. Affordable name brand ones! Only downside is you can't take carts outside and employees aren't allowed to help you carry out heavy items. But definitely add to your rotation! Thanks Katie!😊💕
Thanks for adding Ross to the lineup.....I prefer their prices over most other places but it is definitely a wish and a prayer if you're looking for something specific
THANKS KATIE ❣️ would love to see more accent chairs. At Christmas, they have a lot of great decor and gifts. I feel the furniture is hit or miss. Thanks for taking us along 😊
Hi Katie. Unfortunately Ross is not located in my state but when I've traveled to see fam in FL I was blown away by the prices and selection of clothes, bedding, home decor, all the things. The store be messy and a bit disorganized but worth the trip. Add it to your rotation of stores. Although I can't shop in store there is much to see for inspo 👍🏼👌🏽
I worked stock at Ross and all of mine put stuff out in the afternoon, shift was 1-5 so stuff went out starting around 2pm, Monday through Friday 😊 when it's holidays and stuff they got a truck on Saturdays as well, and the stock is completely random lol
In my town Ross is right next to hobby lobby and TJ max like the others said it’s hit or miss but once in awhile I get something amazing for so cheap… I don’t even look at the clothes but just shop in the home decor A lot of decor from India there always
Yeah, Ross probably isn’t the go-to store but they have little gems every now and then at great prices. You’re definitely not paying for ambiance there but like shopping at Goodwill type stores, there are some good finds there.
Ross is owned by the same parent company (TJX) that owns TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods, Burlington, and Ollie's. They all have overlap of merchandise. Ross and Ollie's are generally the cheapest (Ollie's being the cheapest) of their stores and usually sell more of the leftovers. Burlington would be next, and then TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods, which all price their stuff pretty much the same and usually get the newest stuff first.
Hi Katie I enjoy your videos so much & love learning about the trends. In Calif. we have TJ Maxx, Marshall’s and Ross. I shop the first 2 primarily but will look at Ross again. They’re all w/in 3 miles of my home so why not! Have Home Goods too!
Wow, I'm shocked the your Ross location in California isn't that great, especially since the company's main corporate headquarters is located in CA...their secondary corporate office is in NYC where I am, but I'm not near a Ross. Typically, product assortments for most retailers are often even better in places like NY, FL, TX & CA because they are major markets.
Katie. It really bad as far as supply out here in California. I live in Southern California. Laguna Beach area and all stores are so lacking in stock. Hobby Lobby’s, the TJX stores of all types, Target and Goodwill. Hardly any stock and of course Goodwill are very expensive. I did ask Hobby Lobby why the stock never has what I see on RU-vid videos. They say it’s from the beginning of the supply chain. California from a shipping area is last on the list to get product so if they run out of certain items as distribution goes we will not get here. And they don’t try to spread out the stock. So one store on the East Coast will get a ton of product that may not sell through as fast and they will mark down and California will not get any distribution. Same at Walmart. So frustrating to see great videos and not have product available. . But I love watching the videos and sometimes I will find product. Thank you for your great videos and for your pragmatic way you explain what you love, like and what you are disappointed with. Love to see more videos of Ross. Thank you.
I don't live near a Ross, but people I know who shop there typically say while the prices are often lower than TJ/Marshall's/HomeGoods, the assortment availability and even sometimes neatness of the stores is not as great...plus there is the ticketing issue.
Ross is very hit or Miss but I have found some real gems. Don’t pass up looking at their shoes - some real deals on name brand shoes, particularly athletic and outdoor (hiking) shoes
I usually don't go to Ross, every time I go in there it's a mess so it's not easy to shop and I feel like there are always a million kids running around like crazy! Last time I was in there kids were throwing footballs in the store around people.
The one by me always looks ransacked and the shelves are always empty. I do always go late in the day. I just don’t believe that would make a difference at my store.
