Listening to this and little bits about SCOLT's building projects makes me wish we could see more of these moments on the show; it would be nice to showcase a little more of Black Excellence to the drama to balance things out a bit. ❤

For example, it was said she told her puppets to unsubscribe from a CC that she didn’t like, and they did it. As someone who is from rural Alabama, got my education and left I know why the fans are so involved in this show. Hunstville is small. This is the biggest thing some of them have ever seen. Some have never left. Some have never read a book after high school. Some are small minded without a lot of cultural experiences. This is the biggest thing that they feel within tbeir grasp and they feel like they need to be in it to make themselves feel better. My expert opinion from a small town Alabama native.

They’re mad if these people talk about Melody and they’re mad when they don’t talk about Melody. These people are really unstable and need professional help. @@CozyKayyHer grammar and vocabulary are not fine. Tisha went to the speech therapist as a storyline in season 1 because her loving husband told her she had a lazy tongue. The therapist told her that she had a strong regional dialect - not a speech impediment. It hasn’t been addressed since. Had she left AL and taken that job out of state instead of accepting Marseau’s proposal after a month of dating, she would have shed some of her accent/dialect and country ass ways!
