did you know, Rye? the infamous Toreador-march originates from the opera Carmen and is about a bull fighter (toreador) who enters an arena already knowing that his bull is too young and can't escape.
@@phoneguy4637It also comes to mind how child murderers murder children because they are vulnerable and will never be able to overpower a full grown adult. Eh, can have multiple meanings. Like the fact it was featured in the Purina sponsored nintendo DS game Purr Pals (2007). As a playable track.
AHHH my musical theatre heart is so happy with this episode!! Musical motifs are so important for storytelling!! Learning that Ballora's theme is in that one Security Breach trailer had me SHOOK! The Sister Location elevator theme and the Security Breach Daycare theme are very close, but they're not the same.
Even if they're not exactly the same, the fact that just the vibes of the daycare theme is more similar to the sister location elevator music than any other glamrock animatronic theme is very interesting. In my opinion, it sort of points out how out of place in this more carnival themed animatronic is compared to the glamrocks, even if it's unintentional.
leitmotif līt′mō-tēf″ noun A melodic passage or phrase, especially in Wagnerian opera, associated with a specific character, situation, or element. A dominant and recurring theme, as in a novel. For those who don't want to google it
motif mō-tēf′ noun A recurrent thematic element in an artistic or literary work. A dominant theme or central idea. A short rhythmic or melodic passage that is repeated or evoked in various parts of a composition.
Hey, musician here! At 1:00:40 when y’all looked at the SL elevator theme and the Daycare thing, I can hear what y’all are hearing that makes the two sound eerily similar but there are a couple of choices made in each theme that make them distinct enough to where I wouldn’t assume any intentional connections. I get what y’all are picking up on, but I agree that it is too close to coincidence and not close enough to be on purpose. Edit: Also, around 1:03:28 with the three songs that have the 3-chord downward progression, the first has Gm-F#m-F-E, the second has Gm-F#m-*Fm*-E, and the third has C-G/C-F/C-C, so I see what you’re hearing there but I wouldn’t say it’s precisely “the same notes”.
1:05:36 Venta Black's second musical phrase (the "do-do...do-do") is 4 notes going up, just like Yellow Rabbit and Eisoptrophobia. It's definitely an Afton theme, which makes sense given that he created Circus Baby etc. Also, the Pizza. Sim. cutscenes feature a smiling, creepy man who looks like Afton, so that's another point towards Forgotten Sunday Show being Afton's. P.S.: "Snap Goes the Spinal Chord" sounds a lot like what the Mimic does in the books: rip bodies apart with its bare hands.
I stumbled upon fnaf while literally deep diving modern music and now I’m completely obsessed with the franchise. I have so many theories that I think no one has brought up specifically related to the music.
My big theory is that there are musicians writing the story of fnaf and Scott was hired as a ghostwriter/developer. The animatronics represent the image that’s created for you as an artist and the suits are different representations of the artists. In the music industry there are people who just perform, write, produce, or do all of the above but aren’t credited (or credited under a ghost writer). This is because the industry wants to keep artists in boxes but as an artist that’s not realistic. I think there’s no real death in the games because death is supposed to represent new life (a new image, a new body of work). Ghost writers and performers are an essential part of the music industry at this point cause artists have so many restrictions on what they can or can’t do so they hire friends to take credit for it just so the art can be shared with the public. I believe this is what William Afton is doing and that this is what the mimic is supposed to represent. He’s taking “kids” (I believe they represent new artists) and making them a part of the company (the entertainment industry) so he can have as much influence as possible and take down Henry. There’s a lot more to this and I’m happy to answer any questions. I’m not great at organizing my thoughts but I’ll do my best cause I’ve invested a lot of time into this.
@@zoefinnegan6360 an interesting theory! I suppose the in-universe stuff could apply, but prior to FNaF world, none of the games had music made for the games, it was only Scott. And he'd hired Leon Riskin for FNaF World, as it was an RPG and would've needed a lot of music. Prior to FNaF World, all music present in any of the games was just from free music libraries. Though if you still believe in your theory, I'd love to hear your counterpoints! As for the part for in-universe stuff; it doesn't make much of an implication that William originally intended for them to end up in the animatronics, at least not for the first kill, like Charlie. On top of that, It is unclear whether he was the one that stuffed the MCI into the animatronics or if it was the Puppet, so to prove your theory on it being symbolism in the way you claim, you'd first have to prove that he was the one to stuff the MCI into the animatronics, AND prove that he knew Charlie would possess something after he killed her in the alley. Again, if you still have more proof or counterpoints to what I've said here, I'd love to hear them!
Another connection between RUIN and fnaf world is prototype. Remember the headless freddy? We had a bear almost bare endoskeleton like robot in fnaf world called prototype. And a monstrous freddy in fnaf world's troll game called prototype. Thought I'd mention it.
1:28:01 it’s worth noting that FNaF World and UCN are *physically* connected as well through the lake drowning ending. If you haven’t drowned yourself in FNaF World, but open up UCN and drown yourself in that game, the trophy for the drowning ending will be unlocked in FNaF World *without having actually drowned yourself in that game*
43:40 To be fair he was surrounded so it’s not like he could just run away. That was his Hail Mary to regain any chance of coming out alive. Similar to how it happens in the follow me ending.
I know two songs used were Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky and Serenade by Schubert and Swan Lake is about a person turning into something by night because of a curse by an evil man and a prince falling in love with a princess. Serenade is about someone yearning to be loved by someone. I always thought those two songs in particular were worth looking at.
I will say, in War Games, it's not really making the machine lie to itself, but teaching the machine the concept of mutually assured destruction. Hence the quote "The only way to win is not to play".
I don't necessarily have a better ear but I have fully listened to a 10hour daycare theme video during one shift. I immediately saw where you were going with that before you even played the daycare theme.
Cassidy feels like one of the few aspects of FNAF lore that Scott has fully defined. Like...there are so many little clues regarding Golden Freddy's importance, the movie shows that Scott has a VERY specific interpretation of them, and even one of the early movie scripts was centered around Cassidy and implied to basically be a full lore guide. Many things in FNAF feel like they are made up on the spot, but with Cassidy I think Scott had a full story for years we simply don't know yet.
Keeping in mind the idea that if something like Vanny is taken out of a person and must go somewhere, where was GGY put? Could that be one of the Helpys maybe?
I love the idea of motifs for different characters (like the Flipside song, Nowhere to Run, etc having a “Henry motif”) which can help tune theorists in on who is important for what events if you hear their motif.
Imagine if Sammy shows up... dressed like Crying Child, carrying a Fredbear plush. It would confirm my headcannon, but would throw everything out of whack.
52:19 well to answer the question of what the horror would be, the answer seems obvious to me, and thats halloween. Every appearance of fall fest in the games so far has had a Halloween astetic (especially HW1's halloween dlc), so it would make perfect sense for the horror to come from attractions meant to be scary, even if the only danger comes from how archaic and erratic the early technology is. Id expect things like the pumpkin sun from HW2, or the mascot costumes from ruin, maybe with the early springbonnie design (glitchtrap) around as we see in HW1's dlc, or heck maybe even the HW vanny mask was designed after one of the fall fest characters, who knows. I think overall itd be similar to fnaf 1 in that the horror that comes from how strangely creepy these poorly made childrens mascots are (judging off of the Ruin mascot costumes and glitchtrap). It wouldnt be fear of things designed to kill you killing you, itd be fear of things meant to scare you or entertain you malfunctioning, or maybe just the fear that comes from them trying to scare you, who knows.
As someone who's been making music, I get the similarities you see with the sister location elevator and the security breach theme, but unfortunately they don't share a motif. They share a similar emotion, but this same idea pops up through the soundtrack a lot.
This was the most fascinating discussion about FNAF lore I’ve seen in quite a while. So fresh! I’d noticed the recurring motifs but hadn’t considered lore implications. Theooftroop should should make theory videos!
Wow this video was so cool. I was not expecting so many leitmotifs but i was wrong. I'm fascinated by the titles of all the songs too. I love how you both made funny of KellyBurntrap - I'm glad this has fallen in popularity lmao. It really doesnt make sense. Loving the Ruin chatter. I like that Ooftroop raised the point about the Entity being an 'unexpected' thing and yet being talked about as part of the security system. I spotted that too and it really bugs me. Fazbear Frights take so long to read xD i'm still only on 4, soon to be 5. I'm with you on Gregory and Vanessa working together initially. Its what makes the most sense. It makes me wonder if any of that was left over in the final game plot. Thanks Ooftroop and Rye for this fun little adventure into FNAF music.
I’d like to add on to the coffee mention in help wanted. Coffee only appears in the FNaF 3 minigames, on the desk. In the fnaf 3 minigames, there is also a coffee vending machine in the corner of the office at all times
A small bit to throw into the burntrap/mimic discussion: There is a claw mark (specifically a scratch mark, named in the files, iirc) in both Burntraps room and the Mimics vent, which is the exact same texture and wasnt there at the time of SB. If we assume that the claw mark (and no, it's way to big to be a handprint and also shaped way too weirdly) is from The Mimic (and, well, who else would be in the Lair?), The Mimic MUST have been in Burntraps room after Security Breach. Also, The Mimic is capable of emotion and anger in RUIN. With "Gregory" enthusiastically telling us to hurt the daycare attendant, the pause menu dialogue (which isnt helpi, because we get some of those messages before we get the mask), all those imply he has emotions, and malicious intent. And another bit: While Burntrap has clear thought and effort put into him, several of his shell parts are just straightforwarldy ripped from glamrock animatronics.
Please notice me! I have 4 years of music theory experience, and I can confirm that the sister location elevator and the daycare theme are similar, but not the same.
If the theme for the puppet’s minigame called alchemist’s fantasy isn’t mentioned once in this video I will be severely disappointed, especially since that title can be so easily connected to remnant, a substance that can bring things to life, a material alchemists fantasized about.
42:18 reminds me, did the community ever come to a complete solid conclusion on what the screaming sped up old man consequences audio in Ultimate custom night says? Cause i remember the main consensus years ago was something along the lines of "hate mike", or "I hate", so what if it was about exactly what ooftroop is talking about here?
@@ryonbendinelli549 after listening to it, the only thing i can very clearly decipher is the strong vowel, its unclear whats being said, if anything but its either an "i" or and "a" sound, and much like yanny laurel, whichever vowel you hear will determine if it says MIIIIKE or HAAAATE. To go into further detail, when screaming both "hate" and "mike" have a very weak first consonant, and a very weak third letter consonant, followed by an e. Youll notice if you scream the letters A and I separately in the same way the scream says it, Hate has a bit more of an "Aaaaayye" sound, while Mike has a consistent "iiiiiiiie" sound. Then listening back to the sound, i can very clearly hear the "AAAAAYe". Basically if it says "hate" it would sound like "hey" and if it says "mike" it would sound like "hi", and i very clearly hear "hey", so i think it says "hate"
@@empyrean3036 that also works, at the end of the day its a bunch of distorted screaming, so, much like listening to rushing water and hearing speech, we likely are just hearing vowels and it just so happens every word everyones come up with for the possibilities have very strong vowels you would expect in screaming
@@jc_art_ Thank you for actually acknowledging that there's nothing definitive about the distorted screaming, so many people just say its William screaming for help from Mike when it just sounds like unintelligible nonsense to me.
The fact that Sister Location cut songs are then used again in Help Wanted 2 is so friking cool. Like we the audience don't know where they played but it turns out it was Jeremy's soundtrack afterall
This is definitely my favorite episode so far just all the tangents even tge ones not directly connected with the songs is so fun and interesting. And that music stuff is mind blowing.
2:03:08 But the workers in SB literally decide to check up on Burntrap in the sink under the Roxy Raceway to see what was draining so much power. Burntrap is already existing at that time as the version we see him as in SB. That's why he used Vanessa to force all the workers to attend a "staff meeting" where they got rid of them all using the Glamrock Endos, and then later on showed them in the company files as them being on a vacation as they were supposed to be replaced by the STAFF Bots. He literally showed the workers as being outside of the Pizzaplex as to not draw any attention to himself. And it's not the first time, either. There is a one very specific message in SB about a 911 call, which Vanessa replies to the officer as being "another prank call". So Burntrap was definitely in there.
Shout out to the Eddygrimm channel hosted by a Fellow Spanish speaker, They make videos based of fnaf fan songs and creates an AU of the story Check out their original content the heartless
Also, before I forget, it just hit me: that noise Vanny makes after she crushes Glitchtap then backs into the darkness in Help Wanted 2? Does it sound similar to the music/noises in Sister Location's trailer, particularly in the beginning?
1:47:48 weird *twisted* way, a shared child between Henry and William 🤔? Sounds familiar, almost like ive heard it somewhere before, maybe as a plotline in a book trilogy, perhaps? Hmmm... (Fourth Closet Circus baby reference!!?!)
I love this episode. I don't fully agree with the connections in all circumstances. But I love a long form discussion on a niche side of the Fandom that goes off the rails. Longer isn't always better but sometimes it's appropriate to let a good discussion go without artificially cutting it for time if not needed
I’ve seen the movie Wargames! It was really good, and it’s so interesting that you pointed out all the similarities of the computer console WOPR and MXES. It’s really cool to see how other media has inspired FNAF and it really ties in well with the time. The implications though…the movie came out in 1983, and so does that kind of imply that MXES (a piece of technology that looks like from that decade) has been around for that long? 👀 it’s fun to think about!
1:47:35 The thought of Golden Freddy being in some way a combination of souls or a messy partial soul that has become its own thing, and serving as William and Henry's joint child, is very very similar to the end of The Fourth Closet where Elizabeth in Circus Baby + Charlie combine into one person. William and Henry's daughters in one body as one new person.
I'm surprised you didn't showcase the Balloon World arcade music and the Circus Baby minigame from SL theme. They're like... The same. Which could hint that Balloon Boy and Circus Baby are from the same batch. Still, awesome video!
Bonk Boy has been doing some videos about the voice acting in the games and he has listened to everything PJ Heywood hundreds of times at least. I think if you take a look at his videos with how he breaks down even the emotions to what they are saying you could find some connections between the music, motifs, voice acting and the different media parallels of FNAF to make better guesses and reasonable assumptions to what might've happened. At this point in the lore with how things are hidden I would not be surprised if we need professional digital music pros and psychologists break down these things in more detail.
Here’s what I think of glitchtrap/burntrap. I think burntrap is a separate entity from the mimic in ruin, also if the tales from the pizzaplex books are canon I personally believe that the body belongs to a boy named Luca from the story pressure who dies in a springtrap suit.
Hey bro watched few of ur eps before you got 200k congrats btw and ur journey is awsome love ur thirst for knowledge and curious nature ty for this amazing video you guyt both made my night i love the guy u collaborated with this time gotta make sure i will follow his journey too keep it up guys dobt let any air heads get to u
1:33:47 Here’s my crackpot theory. So if OMC is the King and the King and Princess imply a parent-child connection. OMC is Henry, the Puppet and Golden are linked through musical motif, is Golden and by extension Cassidy the Game equivalent of Sammy from Silver Eyes?
They follow a different pattern elevator goes A,A1,B whilst daycare goes A,A1,A,B but I think the have the same overall shape would need someone with a better ear to check
This was actually such a great episode I’ve always liked fnaf music but never really listened to any of it and it’s funny how obvious a lot of these are hearing them.
The computers being older. The fact that both gregory & Cassie are using walkie talkies & not like cell phones, made me think what if help wanted & security breach are earlier in the timeline than we've thought before? 🤔
Then again I worked at a place that you had to use f4 to check giftcards on an old computer & we still took checks in 2020 lmao so I get it when the owners don't update the place over the years
this is super old and im late to this but I think the idea that ive only seen like once or twice- of cassidy- golden freddy- vengeful spirit whatever you want to calll them- is sammy- IS charlies brother. I think its super interesting and worth looking into
35:45 It literally tells you to fix the Security Nodes before you start deactivating them, at which point it seems to decide "Okay, we're doing this then" (I am specifically talking about Blue Helpi, because Orange Helpi is unambiguously a bastard). 1:13:20 You have no idea how much I crave a Desolate Hope sequel. 1:37:40 People in-universe, at least initially, are more aware of the murdered children than they are of the hauntings. 1:59:00 Assuming Glitchtrap/Malhare made Pizza Party. I am still of the opinion that the game company themselves made Pizza Party, including the Afton Stand-in model, since it appears no matter how broken Malhare is at any given moment, and Hand Unit even gives you a "you completed the game" monologue afterward. I believe that Malhare simply took a pre-existing model form the game and used it as its avatar.
Just found out that in the "Welcome Medley" soundtrack playing in the main lobby of Security Breach, at the end (2:43) we can hear Mangle's radio sound in the background. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aKzjxOODfhs.htmlsi=SwF7KG8eSVYdXINs&t=163
Also "A Wheel of Shadows" in Freddy in Space 3 Chica in Space uses the same notes as the music of Henry's speech "Nowhere to Run" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aMUfqX5Zbwo.html
My brain exploded when Davi Vasc started explaining leitmotifs in Toby Fox music and now I listen for them everywhere. So glad FNAF music is getting some love, Leon Riskin is amazing 🥰
I've often thought about how Gracefully Into the Abyss sounds VERY similar to Alchemist's Fantasy, which may not mean much, but there's also a Puppet plushie hidden behind a pillar during that Princess Quest minigame.
Ya know, recently I’ve been having questions on whether some of the characters (like cc and Cassidy or Cassidy and Charlie) were actually the same characters that people separated early on. Obviously then the logbook makes cc and Cassidy debunked, but there’s something about those three in particular that makes me wonder if they were intended to be the same person or not. Charlie and Cassidy being one and the same at one point makes a ton of sense. (And in the movie I think Charlie is definitely garret or vice versa) This is a 3 yr old (or very young kid) that was murdered in cold blood (they all were, but her death was by the hands of someone she knows and loves). Personality fracturing is a thing the brain does (before the age of 9) in order to protect itself from constant or dramatic trauma. If I understand DID correctly at least (I don’t have it, and I hate split personality disorders being used willy nilly; so if you have it and I’m incorrect please PLEASE correct me). So if Charlie’s soul fractured to protect itself, one of the fractures would stay the original host alter (I think those are the correct terms?) and would go live in the puppet. She would play with the other kids until she meets back up with Cassidy, who was the fracture that decided to latch on to her killer, bc irl vengeful alters will hurt the person they blame most, and young children will ALWAYS blame themselves more than they will anyone else, even their abusers. (Hence why actual people with DID will rarely ever hurt anyone but themselves; it’s why using these disorders for “twist” villains is so harmful) but Charlie’s soul isn’t confined to her body and the vengeful alter is able to latch on to the actual object of her pain and suffering. My best guess is that while Charlie was playing with the mci, Cassidy latched to William so they wouldn’t forget. Maybe they decided to use one of his objects of pride and shame to fight back (the animatronic that built his franchise and killed his son). Shadow Bonnie is also there but as a protector alter (one of the most common types of alters, bc what children need most when suffering continuous trauma is protection, so their brain makes them one) based around Charlie’s Theodore the bunny toy. And I feel it would make sense that a three year old wouldn’t have enough development to recognize beings outside itself to an extent; hence why Cassidy is the One You Should Not Have Killed. I know everyone (rightfully) likes to point out none of those kids should’ve been killed. A very small child can’t process things outside of themselves very well. It’s why we call narcissists childlike (insulting to children) or kids act selfish. They literally CANT. So if William sees Charlie outside the Freddy’s and beats her to death with, like, a tire iron, similar in it’s brutality to Toy Chica from UCN, that’s enough for her soul to split. She hangs out with MCI for a bit with no memory, despite her body being public, because TECHNICALLY part of her soul has those memories. Cassidy decides to use Fredbear as a weapon against William, joining forces with CC who has a bone to pick with his brother (which he drops the second he sees what kinda shape Mike’s in) and becomes a monster of his own making. Except golden Freddy has been in suit mode a while. It eventually gets moved to the same building as MCI, and when Cassidy and Charlie meet, her memories are shared. Cassidy’s job as the vengeful spirit isn’t done yet, so their soul stays split. But now Cassidy is able to realize what happened to her playmates and Give Gifts happens. It’s why golden Freddy just appears. And they move on, stay as split alters. Cass and CC stay in golden Freddy until happiest day. Where he helps the others get vengeance and now knows Michael is free. So he either moves on or hangs with Michael for a while. Eventually pizza sim happens and then Charlie and Cass hang around, so Cass can continue metting out justice to William and Charlie can still help the spirits move on, since with William in a form of life it would be almost impossible for them to rest (J-Gems interview series has a great glimpse into a kinda dichotomy and rift between the spirits that could cause; “you know nothing of our anger!!! Otherwise you wouldn’t be killing him so quickly” literal chills) Now, this is just how I, as a writer, teacher, and neurodivergent/disability/mental health advocate(?), would interpret the information given so far. Plus there’s long held beliefs of multi-part souls, and a kind of mirroring with remnant and agony and shit. Now, again, if I got anything wrong with DID, please let me know, and I hope you enjoy what became more like my short story based more around my love of storytelling than theory evidence. Y’all had some super great points and I loved learning more about storytelling from the music perspective!!!
Hot take:henry was springlocked and that's why he's still alive all these decades later. Even if he was 33 in 1983 to be around for fallfest at 20 in 1970 as a random low estimate, and even if fnaf 6 tekes place let's say 2018, not long after it's release, with fnaf 3 taking place in 2017 30 years after fnaf 2 location shut down, even then he'd be 68. But he doesn't sound that old. He sounds like he would in his 30s. What if this whole time, henry was one of William's victims: his second murder. After his son was killed by Henry's creation, William got drunk, and drove to fredbears. He sees Charlie outside, and in his blind rage after he couldn't fix his son, and his son was gone, he decided to end Henry's child as revenge. He then drives away and midnight motorist occurs. Then Henry just knows this couldn't be random murder. So he decides to go try to find footage from any cameras or even from a security puppet who might have cameras in it's eyes. He looks at the footage and the last thing the puppet saw before short circuiting was the corpse of Charlie. And while Charlie had been found before this, her body might not gave been seen by authorities for who knows how long, possibly eaten by animals and damaged by the rain and an animatronic letf on top of her. So they may not have known what her actual final blow was. But the puppet's footage showed the wounds. And Henry, being smart as he is, does his best to figure out what caused it, not wanting to risk a crooked cop because this was personal. And he then sees enough evidence to know it was William, it had to be. So he went to confront William himself as he knew police wouldn't trust him if he said he knew who killed his daughter. He confronted William in a back room and in William's irrational fear and anger, he makes Henry get springlocked. But Henry knew how to preserve his throat as best as possible, though it wouldn't save him he could still scream without his throat being crushed. Even if for a moment to alert others. But his ribs were crushed first, a factor he didn't consider. He then drowns in his own blood, as victims of accidental deaths had before. And the agony of betrayal by his partner and best friend and the agony of an animatronic fusing into him from springlock failure, it's a lot of agony. Which would bleed out to other objects potentially, though there's none i can think of besides balloon boy maybe. And William didn't know about possession at the time so didn't realize Henry was still there in that suit, conscious. Think about this as well: We have no records of henry being around any time between fredbear's and the fnaf 6 endings. And Henry said "a wound first inflicted on me". Yes it's not exactly supposed to be literal, but also think about this. Henry gets springlocked by William, and in his pain from betrayal, it might have ked to agony spreading. And at the same time, henry did let the wound bleed out, by not going to authorities first. His actions led to him trapped for decades in a back room until the fnaf 6 pizzaria was built on top of Fredbear's, where the mimic and m.x.e.s are. He takes that building, with nobody knowing he's dead, assuming he'd just been missing then reappeared through calls and online stuff to purchase this building to repurpose as a Freddy's. Then has it altered via entirely remote communication to be that maze. And with 3 burning rooms. He expected Afton and Charlie, and the murder victims he discovered while communicating fir the rebuilding, and gave the potential buyer a way out, but had no clue about Elizabeth being in baby at first. Once he sees it's a rotted Michael, he knows michael won't wanna leave. The fire is lit and he thinks it's over, but Charlie tells him she still has to do one final thing before she can move on:free the other kids. And sadly for Henry, that takes a long time as Cassidy, who also was stuffed in a fredbear, had become vengeful and was not only keeping Afton in purgatory, but was trying to keep Charlie there so she couldn't bring peace to them all as Cassidy thought it would be better to keep torturing Afton, and if Charlie helped free everyone, Cassidy knew nobody would be around to torture Afton. So she kept trying to hold Charlie back, even creating this elaborate illusion of these animatronics being cutesy, as a way to distract her. But eventually Charlie sneaks into the deeper parts, the flipside, to avoid detection by Cassidy, controlling fredbear. Once Charlie succeeded in freeing everyone, Cassidy should have been free too..but her anger and vengeful spirit were not gonna go so easily. So Charlie and some other soul, maybe henry, maybe michael, work together, and drag Cassidy into the deepest parts, to force her to let go of afton, she struggles against going into the darkness but can't.
Also the whole "follow me" with vr and shadow fredsy makes me feel like shadow freddy is like a memory or something of william using the golden freddy suit to lure kids into the secret room. Just a thought
The time where vannessa tells glitchtrap that "she found one" i always thought was a next victim/ target but now it makes sense for it to be a vessel for glitchtrap.
I'm very late to the party, but the unused showtime song background from Help Wanted 1, was also used more than it appears. Its' distorted version plays in the hard mode for Bonnie repair, it's also the exact same as the music that plays in the HW1 hubworld, when you flip the switch to the hard mode (the same music is used in Help wanted 2 in fnaf 1 fazer blast section), it also plays briefly in the very first Security Breach trailer, right after the Vanny jumpscare, the one that plays after Freddy says 'I think she's found us'. And the most obvious, it's a background music for the second trailer, the short forgotten one, that mostly showed ray tracing...
Don't think anyone is gonna see this but linking mimic with mexes. What if the machine is the original mimic program that henry (or whoever built the mimic) created, like it could be henrys first project, then he started getting into animatronics and combined the two, putting the program into the endo, and then the machine got repurposed into the entity much much later because whoever did it either knew it was the original or just figured out and it being the original but enhanced would kinda make sense why the entity is able to keep the mimic at bay (i dont really remember what the entity stops the mimic from doing so sorry if I'm wrong). For my SU fans kinda like how lapis being Malachite was able to keep jasper prisoner, they are basically the same thing but one is stronger. Alot of holes but what they said about the war games machine being closer to the mimic then the entity just triggered a thought and steelwool said it's purposely supposed to look old so who knows
Im very excited to watch this, but the concept reminds me of the fact that smashing windshields sounds incredibly similar to hitchin' a ride by green day, a song about alcohol, addiction, and driving. Not exactly a motif, but interesting when i realized
The Daycare Attendant's SFX are in some of the unused Security Breach OST, like Sleep No More (I think that got used in HW2 IIRC), Snap Goes the Final S Chord, and Venta Black. As well as the Security Breach trailer music.
Hai, I just wanted to point out for me, the SL Elevator theme IMMEDIATELY gave me daycare vibes when it was played before it, and I guessed it was going to be daycare before it was even played, so it's 100% there
