2011 was devastating. I have been a Rangers fan since my first game in 1993. I am a bigger Cowboys fan but I have to say that a WS win would be more important than a SB

I couldn't stop laughing and agreeing with each and every point yall had lol! Cardinals WS hurt worse, this would heal so much. The Evan Carter catch is the reverse Nelson Cruz and Jung was a Rangers fan back in the day!

I’ve been a rangers fan since 1996 and my grandfather was a Rangers fan up until his death in 1995 he never saw the Rangers get to the postseason let alone get to the World Series I know he is watching in heaven and I’m sure he is proud that he could pass on his love of baseball to his grandson.

I live in Dallas and I can tell you the 6th game, 2011 crushed the soul out of DFW for a couple weeks. Even now, people cringe when some one brings it up. This group will erase that memory.

Cardinals WS DEFINITELY hurt more. As you pointed out. 2010 We were just happy to get there. (For me at least) ESPECIALLY since we FINALLY beat the yankees (lower case intentional) to go and the icing on the cake was that the final out of the LCS was A-Rod striking out, especially after his comments about Texas after leaving Texas for ny.

The mediocre play year after year from the brad Corbett days to the early JD days. The big Atlanta trade started making the feel of a better optimistic chance of making the playoffs. But what CY has done (with the help of daddy Ray) has taken us higher (creed baby 😂). Let’s finish this

I got back to the Jeff Burroughs, Billy Martin, Fergie Jenkins, Tom Grieve( the player) days. Juan Gonzalez and those Rangers lit the lamp. He just didn't have any help in 1996 and I was PISSED when he was traded. 2011 stung, but hasn't hurt over time. That was a great run. We just didn't get that last strike.. It's time and a win will lift us all and it's good to hear that from Beltre. But he and that group owe us no apology. I'm still proud of what they gave us old school Rangers fans who saw alot of bad baseball.

I attended my first Rangers game in 1973. We were totally outclassed by SF in the 2010 World Series, but that 2011 collapse just knocked the wind out of lifelong fans--especially after the decades of mediocrity. It's great to finally have that weight lifted!
