Yes if you are going remote especially. I went to Adele's grove and left the second spare home as we were doing mostly sealed roads. Got a puncture on the way out, I always carry tubeless plugs, big hole wouldn't seal properly with 2 plugs, fitted spare and drove up to Burketown, Leichardt falls then south to Julia creek and had a patch placed on the inside. 670 kms with only a leaking spare and careful driving. swore never to leave home for any unsealed road without second spare.

Found it easier and lighter to carry spare cases tubes and tyre change gear most times I got the next local garage to refit for me and having your own gear means the tyres match got a puncture on the Nullarbore and the garage did not carry tubes or tires for a troopy . enjoy your trips and take your time their is a lot to see

Least it happend where it did and not middle of no where and learnt about time for a different jack in the sand
