I just got my P2 and have 7 mountain flights, but I want one of these already anyway 🤣. Oh well I guess I better wait till I have a couple hundred hours first.

are you happy with quality and how the harness little details are finished?

Hello Greg. Awesome review, thank you! I'm sure you're aware that there is a GTO Light 2 version. Is it worth saving some $ to get the newer version? Also, I'm looking for my first pod, would this one be OK or should I look to something else? Thank you!

How is the GTO2 light compared to the Weightless in durability? I have the weightless and feel that it is not going to last very long in daily use?

Thank you for great video as always. This looks great. However, I'm still a beginner / intermediate pilot (Not doing XC Yet) so will it be a smart decision? I know I will get into XC but I think that will be after another 50 hours (I have 75 hours Thermals and Glass off)?

Hi Greg great review! I’m confused on the sizing... I‘m 172 and tried the M at a testival not far from their factory and it felt fine... the woody valley employee said it’s the right size... I’m wondering though if the S would feel even better. You are 174 and say the M is too big? How come? Cheers.

Thank you for the review Greg. Wondering if the lack of the seat plate, makes it / feels more prone to twists? Also, how much is it different from the x-alps gto, if you ever had the chance to fly it, regarding the general handling in flight?

A late question: I’m 170cms, 64kg.. size S or M?

hey greg, how do you find the seat support of this harness compared to something like the advance lightness 2? woody valley claim that with the added fiberglass supports under the bum that it helps to stop to wishy washy feeling compared with a dedicated hammock harness. whats your thoughts since you have flown this.

it would benefit from a hard seat plate for the larger movements. The geometry on the Lightness 2 is different so weightshift inputs have better authority. A lot depends on the harness fit and setup, so it's important to sit in them both.

I'm looking for something STABLE to go with my Sigma 10, which would you recommend: Lightness 3, Delight 3 or GTO Light? Thanks!
@greghamerton4422

delight3. The Lightness3 is also worth trying, but it has a more reclined position, so it's more of a hammock, with legs straight which takes more geting used to in rough stuff. The Delight3 is more like an upright harness, you're sitting and have a seat board feel, so more direct control which gives you a more 'stable' feeling. It's a much bigger harness to pack down though... pros and cons to everything. GTO is least 'stable' feeling due to high roll feedback, it is designed to feel similar to their comp XR7

@@greghamerton4422 Awesome, thank you for your quick reply. I currently have the Delight 2, would you say the D3 is more stable than the D2? Or is it similar?
@greghamerton4422
@greghamerton4422 5 лет назад
@@dmontejo similar, a slightly more refined feeling in the way it removes the noise but transmits the real info

how big is the harness when packed?

how does it compare to the Kortel Kolibri for storage space?
@greghamerton4422
@greghamerton4422 6 лет назад
more space, I think. better comfort. from what I remember though, Kolibri has less roll transmission and more roll authority.

Is it possible to fly in a sitting position with such harness ?
@greghamerton4422

Read the full review Olivier - there's always one on our website for the videos we do. "It’s not comfortable dangling in the legstraps, so it’s best to get back into your pod and push back on the footplate. This means that although the skirt is removable (for repairs/replacement), this harness isn’t really useable without it, or at least, without a stirrup." So although you can sit up a bit, it's not as nice as something like the Supair Strike in this position. flybubble.com/blog/woody-valley-gto-light-harness-review

@@greghamerton4422 I just researched about the supair strike and it looks quite nice. Would that make sense to have on a harness also footplates somewhere under the thig ? in order to have legs folded back, which gives a compact and stable body position.
