Does this 2009 MazdaSpeed 3 prove Mazda should BRING it BACK? 

As a car guy, I always want cars like these back but I know it's like financial suicide at this point at least in the states. Until everyone stops buying crossovers and SUVs, performance cars like the Mazda Speed seem like a thing of the past.

Had one of my own with a Cobb stage 3+ package. That car has been one of my favorites.. a true beast! The best thing was that I beat on it every day and I had zero issues. I’ve owned a 2017 Subaru STI and now a 2019 WRX and even until today I reminisce about my Mazdaspeed as it was my first modded car.

For the time, this car had an insane amount of hp and tq 263hp and 280 tq. But also an insane amount of torque steer. Such an underrated hatchback.

I read an article on Jalopnik that the 2.5 turbo engine will be coming to the new gen 3, but not as a Mazdaspeed version.

2 of my buddies had MS3's, one had a gen I and the other a gen II. Btw those are EVO X GSR rims and I hope he gets after those headlights with the Griot's Garage headlight restoration kit, it's simply the best one on the market💡

A half a year ago I tried to buy a Mazdaspeed6.

I remember test driving one in 2011 and it was awesome. Handled well and pulled hard when you hit the go pedal. The Mazdaspeed 6 was a great car as well and now look at Mazda a bland car company making cars more suited for putting soccer ball and stick figure family stickers on the back window

Yes, Mazda should bring back the Speed3 to compete with the 10th gen Honda Civic Type R in the FWD class or go against Ford Focus RS and VW Golf R in the AWD class. Also I suspect that the price range would be around $35K-$40K, if Mazda would actually release the model.

Definitely love the look of that Mazda.

So the plan is to bring back the MazdaSpeed sub-brand and dillute the corporate push to define Mazda as a premium, near luxury brand. Not to mention undercutting Mazda's corporate fleet CAFE ratings. Honda is a huge manufacturer that can afford to diversify its design, engineering, and production resources to produce a low volume Civic Type R. Mazda is the smallest mainstream automotive manufacturer on the planet. It doesn't have that luxury. There's a reason that Mazda execs wince every time they're asked about MazdaSpeed versions of their vehicles. They would probably prefer to explain the realities of the automotive marketplace but they know that those who ask for such vehicles don't quite grasp that the goal of Mazda is to make a profit, not earn the plaudits of automotive journalists and RU-vid viewers.

So fun so fun I dont spend long with mine out of commission before I get the fire in my belly and the butterflies in my head...r...ya. no you get it, you get it. Anyways that feeling when the air is crisp on a chilly Sunday morning, you got your bowls loaded, your coozies insulatin, whatever schedule substances take your fancy. Hi on life some artificial others but one and all truly ready to go to church. Workbenches are our place. We go to worship man and machine spiritually connecting with the environment and ourselves we contemplate, meditate, and een ascend to higher plains of both knowledge and connection.It is At these times we can feel good again. The older we get it seems more true though harder to find...these are the times we can feel good again not everytime certainly not automatically but with few exceptions these are the times. For those who don't know and go to church every Sunday morning I really hope there connecting with themselves and quieting to a point that they enjoy there experience but I only worship man's words that I can prove and that lead me to tinker and show me the way. Man's written word on machine seems to be the only man made ideas I can safely rely on and without faith needed because I see how there right and what there talking about and I love it and it's real and ita my enjoyment
