I’m currently champ but mainly due to internet issues. Got new fiber yesterday and went 10-1 last night .. should be able to get GC again pretty easily

finally someone who debunks the myth "I am X rank with GC3 or SSL level" or "I don't go out of platinum because of my TM8s fault, not mine." In my oppinion, if you are champ, you deserve be on champ, thats it
I’m around gc2 easily and I don’t think I deserve SSL currently but u can’t even compare me to a c2. My casual Mmr is around that level of champ 2-3 and u can tell the difference. Nothing they do seems to be working against me. Champs outplay themselves most of the time and their defense is unreliable Give me a champ account and I will instantly solo q to gc 1 in 1 streak. So don’t understand people saying they are stuck in champ and used to be gc or blame their mates. If your good enough to be a higher rank u can carry till you get there
i always solo queue into champ1-2, and play considerably better with a friend of mine, but never really reach new heights. I'm a firm believer that what ever the game places you for ranked play, thats what you are. if you claim to be better while playing with someone better, thats literally just you getting carried. a lot of people dont understand the openings and advantages a higher ranked player gives. even a small jump from a player who consistently hits diamond 3, and they play with a friend who consistently hits champ 1, theres a difference in play style and opportunities the champ 1 creates for the diamond 3 to make a play. i dont believe in the plats who claim champ, or whatever rank claiming whatever rank. you would BE that rank if you were as good as that rank. sorry to say
I carried my friend to high c2 while on solo q I dropped below that rank. My friend has really bad mechanics (can’t DAR/Speedflip or shoot consistently). All I teached him was to not overcommit every challenge, throw the ball away and stay close as second man, which he doesn’t even do all the time. I mean I got back to c3/gc but I have also been in low c1 as well and when you get teammates that does stupid mistakes all the fuckin time id have to play my very fkn best to get out of there quickly. Just playing better than everyone else won’t guarantee you ranking up.
@@isjaboi2363 playing better than everyone else does guarantee rank ups. You play 20 matches straight, you’re not going to get a bad teammate every game. Obviously a coordinated teammate is ideal, but if you legitimately better than the lobby, there’s no way you’d see very high fluctuations with your rank. If you previously were GC1, and lost all the way down to C1 over time, the average skill level would have risen or you’re not playing up to GC1 standards. That’s just an example, but season to season, solo queue or not, my rank doesn’t fluctuate more than 1 raw rank. It’s either C1, or 2. I’m never diamond anymore. I too, can carry a diamond 1 friend of mine into diamond 3, c1, but my account is always at my near my peak rank.
getting carried doesnt mean someone deserves 5 ranks above them, so many basic mechs and 50s just missed completely and only goals were tap ins from insane passes. If he did deserve SSL surely hes atleast GC by carrying his tm8ts.
im a diamond that deserves champ and im not kidding my goal to game ratio is 2.3 i carry my teammates almost eery game i could get champ if i had a reliable teammate tbh
I’m peak c1 div 3 usually stuck d3-c1 someone please simplify half flips and speed flips for me I really don’t know how I’m the rank I am without being able to do either😭🤣
