What character traits make a man less attractive in your eyes? “The Real” hosts are calling out the worst things on the list -- like liars and cheaters -- in this Girl Chat.
I dislike men who have childish priorities. Put rims on his car, owns a huge collection of snap backs, and has nearly every pair of Jordans ever released but, won't get auto or health insurance and can't maintain a checking or savings account.
One thing I can't stand in a guy is one that is all brawn and no brain. It's like as if they're entire life revolves around either their looks, ego, popularity, or having life handed to them. I want a guy with some intellectual ambition.
lmao im laughing cause i relate to you comment i was kickin it with a dude for several months nnd he lied about his whole bio didn't even know his real name...i felt like i was watching a lifetime movie..but now it's funny not back then
I can't stand a man who thinks that, " real men" don't show emotion or cry. You ain't no robot, so stop trying to be the stereotypical version of "tough".
My ex was the stupidest liar ever. This one time I asked him to collect my books from home cause he was coming by to visit while i was away for college. I spoke to him 3 times about it. Then this dude arrived and i asked him where the books at, instead of him saying oooooh i forgot. This dude straight out pretended he had amnesia and did not know what I was talking about. Like What! Who does that...
I don't like when guys are arrogant and ignorant. If I can have a intellectual conversation with him and he is humble about his knowledge then that is attractive to me.
I have to agree with Tamera mowry I don't like either when the man always play the victim and he keeps blaming the other people instead of takin responsibilities ...😐
I'm with Tamar on this one. I CANNOT stand a liar!!! OMGGGGG!!! Tell me the truth, I'll trip over it but I'll get over it eventually. Don't lie to protect my feelings because that will just make things worse in the end...like not being able to trust you..
I've never been in a relationship but I wouldn't want a guy who: 1.Lies/cheats 2.Disrespectful not just to me but to everyone 3.Not intellectual/ lacks ambition (I need to have a intellectual conversation with you to get to know you, and everyone should have a dream to follow) 4.Trend follower (Those guys who are just after money, popularity and fame) 5.Someone who chews with their mouth open I HATE that. The sound irritates me like hell.
When your always scared to say things because you're scared they're going to get butthurt and then they say rude ass things. Is it too much to ask for an attractive guy who isn't an egomaniac? Cuz I'm waiting…
I love it when someone owns they're flaws and mistakes and they're shameless. I hate it when someone puts themselves on pedestals, and claim to be self-entitled. overall, just don't be a jerk. I love Jeannie's Vest/Coat and Adrienne's Earrings
Insecure/low self-esteem/poor self image men = super turn off. Like if the dude is too busy peacocking for all the wrong reasons or he doesn't own the consequences of his actions because he's too immature, I CANT. Matter of fact, even though I shouldn't judge, I just find that kind of man annoying, never mind being attracted to him in the first place.
I CAN'T stand the muscleheads that are in the gym 24/7. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about staying fit and healthy. But when all you do is talk about how much you can lift and how you want me to look at you because you're a beast. Or I catch you in front of the mirror feeling yourself ALL DAY LONG! Bruh, unless you are a professional bodybuilder getting paid for all that, can we puhleaaaseee have an intellectual conversation? Being fine can only get you so far, especially when all I hear are crickets in your hollow head
lmao @ Jeannie acting so surprised that Tamar and Adrienne can't relate with dudes flexin their muscles. One keeps on dating 95 year olds while the other's married to the Nutty professor. Of course they can't relate!
you ever notice how every time the other cohosts talk they say well I remember when something happened to ME, or in MY experience. But every time Loni talks she diverts it to someone else or her girlfriends... as of she's afraid of opening up about herself
I'm not here for mean men. Meanness, whether woman or man, is the ugliest trait a person can have. Idc what society says, saying cruel things about people or being selfish to children makes you look absolute trash. Once I see a man be mean or fucked up, he can't return from it. A lot of guys are mean because they think they're cute and our society makes masculinity equal to lack of empathy. If he treats me great but steps over other people imma bounce real quick. He's not a good person.
Adriane please talk about the earthquake in Ecuador... your family is from that country... so far 400 people dead and thousands of people injure... we need help...
Men flex their biceps when you touch the arm the same reason women suck their stomach in when men carees their stomach area. Duh, why is this hard to understand?!.
A big turn off for me is when a man is being disrespectful not only to women but to everyone. I need a polite and respectful man who cares about others
Literally almost everything they mentioned was what I dealt with in my previous relationship -- he was broke and I mean FLAT BROKE, a compulsive liar and had the nerve to be controlling. He also had a tendency to be conceited. Now, he's back with his baby mama and living off her. He was a boy living in a man's body smh. So glad I came to my senses.
I can't have a man who gossips more than me, I know we all gossip but you know that guy who's just extra with the did I tell what this person did like all the time arhhhmm no thanks!
isn't Loni very contradictory? she always claims that she doesn't need a mans money because she works hers. Yet she's the first to say a man with no money is a turn off. I believe that young boyfriend she has got no money. she's paying him.
Something that wasn’t added here: when men use offering a business venture as a way to spend time with you- that has happened so often to me that I’ve become a total introvert!
A man who judges people the wrong way. For example, we're watching tv and see a woman on the news, he shouldn't say things like, "Wonder who she had to sleep with to get that job?" or "Wow that's the first fat host I've seen. They normally look like toothpicks." And this stands even if they are joking. You can make a joke and be funny, while also being respectful. So if any guy says something that crosses that line, my mind won't let me find him attractive anymore.
A big turn off for me would be a guy who is very unhygienic. Like I don't need for you to be Mr. Clean with the pretty white teeth and a nice shine but you should at least show that you keep yourself well groomed, you at least know what a shower is and you at least have an idea of how to use deodorant.
I can see here that much of what is said is up to interpretation. For example, not owning up to mistakes to a woman might be the way to describe how a man is acting. But in reality, the man views it as taking a stand against injustice and it wasn't his mistake at all. Truth is always in the eyes of the beholder. Unless there is details about a specific circumstance it is hard to judge the validity of what they are saying. It would be like saying "I like men who are nice and kind and good and like kids". A complete asshole might very well think that he is nice and kind and good.
they really need to have more girls chats that aren't all about relationships. Obviously thats a big part of life but every talk is about marriage and boyfriends etc
Oh and another turn off to me is when a guy acts incredibly childish. Like I don't mind a guy who is a "child at heart" to me that's really cute. But DC said it best "theres a difference between a man and a adolescence". I need for you to have your priorities in order and to show me that you're not some man child. I can't get with that I'm sorry. Not in this life.
for a minute. I had to rewatch the video to know what they're talkn bout, flexing, like showing off their arms because you touching or rubbing them, instead of just leaving them flabby, that isn't vein, a man showing a woman what he's working with
When guys argue with other girls. Or get into petty arguments like real bitchy arguments for no reason ... Like why.. If imma be petty and bitchy, time of the month or not I need YOU to be the man
3:50 ALL guys do that. It's just a self-conscious thing, kind of like how you'll suck in your stomach if it's on show, or stick your butt out when you're showing your silhouette, you'll flex your arm to make it a little bigger.
