For those confused, Reflections of Littjara doesn't actually create tokens, which is what Primal Vigor's replacement effect looks for. It copies a spell, and copies of permanent spells become tokens, but this doesn't count as creating tokens.
You couldn't have cast Woodelves at 2:37 because you didn't have a green mana source as Rockfall Vale would have entered tapped (you didn't control 2 other lands).
@@MTGMuddstah i dont think its an issue here since i trust in your deck having literally any untapped dual land. its funny to me that u picked exactly that one when searching tho!
2:34 : Normally, Rockfall vale should have etb tapped, am I right? I don't think it's a big deal, though, since you could have fetched a rootbound crag or a forest instead
Great timing. I was about to take apart my Myrkul deck because wasn't really enjoying what it did. Either locked the game out too early until it found its combo, or it was just too slow, so was looking for a different Abzan deck and I was thinking bout Vishgraz for a while and yeah I think this give some the green light for the conversion.
I didn´t get it. What happened? After showing the started hands, what did you mean by " Yes! I know"? And why showing your oppening hand? I am so confused! Can someone please explain??
He kept a one lander leaning hard on Sol Ring and gamble to not just immediately lock himself out of playing the game. He constantly gets comments like "don't keep one landers!" So he knew he was going to catch flak in the comment section for it. Why he showed his opponents I'm not sure, but I imagine it's because they're very casual and it's not that serious so Andrew didn't really care.
His hand was Sol Ring, Mountain, Gamble and four green cards, a very greedy opener that require him to either topdeck a land that tapped for green mana or Gamble for one and hope not to discard it. It paid off in the end (despite him not getting a land that entered untapped, but everyone on the table missed that), but if he had discarded that land, he would've been screwed.
So did the vale player cast the bridge for six with lands and mana rocks and used her mana to activate it or did they use vales mana to both cast the bridge and activate it
I think it was a narration error, because Kevin tapped his four lands and Sol Ring, which he only needed to do because Vhal's mana couldn't be spent to cast the Bridge.
Gotta be honest, kevin played like crap this match. Completely removed and countered the wrong things this game. Threat assessment was way off from him.
Sidar Jabari is a really well designed commander. His eminence ability doesn’t feel busted but synergizes well with his combat damage ability when you get him into the field. That ability actually encourages players to cast him and not leave him in the command zone, unlike EM
Don't counters that are placed onto the Ozolith get doubled from the Primal Vigor, and then the counters get doubled again when the Ozolith puts them onto a creature?
