the classification for a “soda” is its acidity level due to carbonate content. i mean you can have an acidic drink, without carbon and it’s an “aide” if its made with a yeast or fermented it’s a beer or ale, and if its a moonshine it’s a “distillate” which then starts turning into a “solvent” after being further refined and distilled.
the drink is electrolyte flavors. you end up drinking equivalent to 3x the amount of water. the electrolytes counteract the sugar in the packets. they are actually really good for you
