So many combinations to try when ever we get new chatacters but to try them out we need to invest so much.😢 Would love a practice mode where you can raise or lower character levels to get a proper feel. For those you own already.
I would not only consider the points, which you get from demands, but also points you get from completing the stage. And that's a lot of points. And for that purpose you use either "wall" characters, useful characters with strong skills or bunch of diamond characters. And Wrask is incredible in wall tactic with Isabella/Rotbone, Maladus, Angrax and other tough guys.
With a character like Wrask, I feel you also have to take into account how he performs when used. It's like maladus in a legendary event. He will be able to push VERY far for his requirements due to his kit. That starts to count for a lot when pushing beyond unlock in legendary events. Yes some characters fit many requirements but they get crushed in later levels. Just my thoughts
Agreed. Volk gets all the points, but is just too squishy for the game mode. Wrask gives both him and his chaos friends stay-ability. Not quite on level with Rotbone and Isabella, but helps out all the same.
I’m finally high enough level that I’m pretty much guaranteed to get Wrask so I’m definitely happy since I have a fairly shallow pool to work with. However I’m frantically trying to buff up my crew for shadow sun since I did so poorly last time. Currently if I don’t spend my resources trying to get Wrask I’ll be lucky to get Shadow Sun, but I’ve I spend some real money I’ll absolutely get her. In any case if I get the character it’ll be three or four months before I even do anything with him.
(Blood) God, what I'd give to have unlocked Wrask. I only started Tacticus a week ago and I'm struggling with that early game grind of not having a very viable line-up of characters.
If you only started a week ago, then definitely take your time and appreciate the game! You can’t go wrong with any direction you take right now and you will gain a lot more champions in the coming weeks and months! In the meantime, make sure to check out my beginner guides! I have a lot of help there!
I know from a game stand point from lore no way in hell would any world eater worth there stone would give one damn minute to other factions, Death to all Blood for the Blood God, Skulls for the Skull Throne, Bring ON Kharn

Great vid as ever. Love the new graph so thanks for that! I’ll definitely be trying to get him unlocked but I think he’ll end up being more of a fun character than a meta one. Still, some interesting synergies and I like the idea of a deepstrike wrecking team of Wrask and Angrax. On high levels of LRE tracks Angrax can struggle because if you deepstrike him to the spawn points he gets hammered by the enemies who’ve already spawned. Wrask’s shield should help with that.
Thanks for the vid, this answers a lot of my questions! Since you are probably doing at least 1 step above the unlock in LRE, it would be really neat to have a video that focused on what we should think about (based on your experience) after the unlock but before "the absolute end." I am able to unlock now and am trying to think about who I should focus on for the next step.
Do you mean for the shadowsun event? If so, the advice is there… get the same characters up to gold II, focus on tanks and healers. Get the passive up for tyrant guard and healers. Or did you mean something else Jura?
great video, as always, I truly appreciate your perspective on progress in Tacticus, despite sometimes trying to close my eyes before those painful truths of farming times and hit! i do data analysis/science for work and try very hard not to delve to deep into that in game . Anyways the combined data sheets are nice and usability is pretty goo love it! are you aware of a tool/sheet that allows a comparision of the damage of a character on level, rarity, upgrade level, items etc to another character and to guild raid bosses? thanks and cheers!
@@DBPreacherTacticus The Eternal Nexus sheett from Towen does that somewhat, but at least for me its not working correctly. the reason for that might be my security settings regarding google sheets. will have to check once I am on a private computer.
Love your statistics, it does seem to be possible to level a character in a reasonable time, although I don't understand why my best character is still only gold 2. 13 days is not forever to get to D1... Although my bottleneck might be experience since I put everything into Eldryon passive. So Bellator is stuck @42 which wouldn't be enough to D1 him... sucks
definitely liking the reducing times to grind a character up! this guy is sort of sitting with exitor for me where he might have potential to do some crazy work in a really niche team, i'm thinking of guild raids with a fire/psychic team with Ahriman too, but the effectiveness in LREs is sad! I thought that was shaping up to be where he shines. im gutted though, i'm on holiday during shadowsun so will likely miss the whole thing, so that'll have to be a very lucky requisition pull at some point
Oooo sorry to hear you are missing shadowsun but definitely enjoy your holiday! We get so few actual times in our life when we get to down tools and relax! And yeah, I’m the same as you, I was really shocked with his score, I somehow thought he would do much better but I’m really hoping that snowprint put more effort into the next legendary event and mix up the traits a bit!
I like this guy but he is gimped because he's slow already and then sets everything he attacks on fire and does not have unstoppable to then move through it. He needs unstoppable at the very least and then he might be a viable hybrid between Angrax and Haarken.
I really don't like terminators , movement of 2, deep strike only works on 1st turn and you can't attack that turn, Damage mitigation it's the first hit, not the first atack (mk gravis seems to be a lot more consistent)
That’s such a tough choice! For PVP specifically, I would probably go for wrask as he has a bit more survivability but we haven’t seen either being used too much yet!
love the dude, would like to integrate him into my pvp team. Just get everybody shielded and protected round 1 and with Abaddon plus Eldryon damage Buff it's oneshot time. Basically unstoppable. Also Rotbone could be nice to revive and stay alive I would say the enemy could have a hard time. UNFORTUNATELY I don't have the resources for him and my guild will kill me for not pushing the GR Chars....
