I’m 62 I’m trying to understand Parkinson’s. But I find it hard to relate to so much. I stopped taking medication. By only advice I can give. I do high intensity training every day. It so easy for me to excercise. Because I love the way it makes me feel. In certain areas I’m actually getting stronger. Maybe it’s easier for me because I was already fit before I was diagnosed. But I definitely know a strong body helps so much 😊

FMT into the Transverse colon only will cure it. Google fecal matter transplant.

Diagnosed 26 months ago. Now 65. First thing on my mind when I wake up. Never going to be 'healthy' ever again. Doing ok so far aside from constant right leg pain but do feel like a ticking time bomb.

Medical marijuana comes in many forms and can help your symptoms greatly. Lots of studies on this for relief. 10 years ago my grandfather passed from Parkinson’s at 77 but they didn’t have that as an option yet.

I am 41. Last July, I had a massive stroke and almost died. Parkinson's and strokes run on my father's side.

I’ve got Autism and Multiple Sclerosis and I agree that Exercise Daily can really make you feel stronger and brand new again , and improve your health overall.Also it regulates a good Sleep Pattern…

I'm seventy four with fine motor, that appeared several years ago. Balance problems and I to have much less stamina since early this year. Not on any medications.

I'm depressed, tired, my speech sucks now. I can't think of certain words as easily as I used to. My thumb is constantly twitching and I'm constipated

Thank you for your comment, John. Every challenge you've described is, unfortunately, common in Parkinson's disease. The positive to be taken from that is you will never be alone in these experiences. Have you tried speaking to your healthcare team about treating these symptoms or speaking to others with Parkinson's? We have some other videos on our channel that you might benefit from on similar topics which I'll link here for you: bit.ly/BadPDDay_YT, bit.ly/EmotionalHealth_YT, bit.ly/SupportPD_YT

If I get told I have this disease, im going to live the best I can until it gets 2 bad. Im poor, so quality of life will be horrible because my country doesn't have health care. Live it up then say goodbye 😊

Say no to drugs that over time will not continue to work. And what are the side effects?
@LivedHealthParks
@LivedHealthParks Месяц назад
In the case of Parkinson's, I completely disagree with this. Dopaminergic drugs have given me about 10 years of my life back with minimal side effects. When I have off medication periods I realise what life would be like without the drugs - difficult and miserable. Sure, they may not last forever but like many people I have responded well and they have vastly improved my quality of life for many years. I totally understand the instinct not to rely on medication, but I'm glad I got over that some time ago... Jodie

My father had tremors in his hands and when he is extremely angry. Then is became physologically affected doctor put him on valporic acid but now he is not able to control his body and walk properly. Is it parkinson?? Blood test for 14-3-3 is pretty normal at 6860 AU/ml.

Difficult to say. If he hasn't done so already, he should try to see a neurologist rather than a general practitioner.

when you have parkinson’s, can your head shake also
@LivedHealthParks
@LivedHealthParks Год назад
Thanks for your comment! A head tremor is not a typical symptom of Parkinson's, although definitely not unheard of. You may find this research paper useful which describes five cases where head tremor appears to be present in Parkinson's ➡ bit.ly/HeadTremorPD

Yes, I used to care for an older woman & her head rolled constantly. Sometimes her neck would end up hurting.

@@LivedHealthParks thanks. It would be nice to see a version of this made by people who have pd that is progressing quickly. How do they feel and what are they still optimistic about? All the late-stage videos ive seen online are almost uniformly about sad and defeated people who cant be told their lives arent over, and they never say their disease doesnt define them. It is easy to have a good mindset when youre not that sick and dont need 24 hr care.

Thank you so much! Yes that's a fantastic idea, since your last comment we've actually planned to do some more content with members of the community who are in the later stages of PD. It will be really interesting to see what they have to say. Thanks again for reaching out! It's very much appreciated.

@@antondelacruz9362 Absolutely no problem. We're hopefully doing a filming day with some members of a young onset pd group in November where I think we'll be able to make this happen. We will, at the very least, try. In the mean time if there is anything at all you'd like to see, do drop it in the comments of our vids. We're sometimes a little slow to reply but generally we'll always get back to it :) Thanks again
