I recently purchased the ADD W1 V3 oil catch can for my 350Z to see what the hype was about. Video shows unboxing, install, and review. I also show the long term oil catching ability of the can and discuss some outside of the box installation methods I tried to vent both passenger and driver side PCV valves to the can.

Glad you liked it! I was really impressed by your illustration and breakdown of the PCV system and knew anything I tried to do to explain it would fall short of what you did so was happy to plug it! I better start doing more POV driving with music in the videos. 😉 You have a catch can so I assume you do drive your Z like a man already! 😉

Saw these when they first came out, look nice, but are way too expensive for what they are. I just made my own bracket to connect up w/ the power steering and bought a $30 red catch can that has a dipstick (w/ some 3/8" fuel line). Looks nice as well, but more for looks right now as I don't burn any oil.

Same it’s really nice and it’s about just the same as the add w1 but it does not have the 3rd baffling system works really well

Not sure I am going to put an intake on the car. I really like how stock the engine is. I have had issues with cars liking them in the past. Idle can get a little messed up with them in my experience.

Jesse Scheel I’ve got the 07 version of the 350Z and Stillen Intakes have made the driving experience a night and day difference and I haven’t had problems. Cheers!

Never did get additional info on it. Sounds like the majority of blow by comes on that passenger side though so pry nbd.

Did you ever do anything about that hose? I have a red silicone z1 hose and it actually smushes the hose a lot did you ever have any issues?

@@therealjessescheel Alright thanks for the info was just making sure that nothing went wrong 👍🏻 just installed my catch can today and it was a super tight fit with mine since my hose is aftermarket but I posted on Facebook and people said it was fine and those hoses can bend inwards a lot

Did it improve how often you’d need to put oil in? Or did it just imrove how much you actually burned

It’s been over year now. It just catches the blow by so probably doesn’t improve what you need to put in. Between oil changes I just add what’s in the can and the dipstick stays in operating range. 👍🏼

That is one clean and tastefully styled Z33, mate! Also, I have this same can and just ordered a V3.3. I'll probably take the V3 and install it on the driver side of my engine (CCV side)
