Comparison of two top garden hose nozzles. Most nozzles I've owned or tested suck but these are two of the highest-rated and loved nozzles on the market. The Bonaire nozzle has two versions the standard Ultimate Nozzle and the Ultimate Nozzle with On/Off Switch (which is the one in the video). I go over the features of each and which one is the best!

nice discussion sir.I really like the quick connects,I have that on one of my hoses,but it is cool you have them on all your apparatus.I was reading about the Bon Aire,and folks have said that their model in stainless steel is better than aluminum because it is more solid and has no molecular corrosion problems with steel, like aluminum - also, they say that the on off switch is great for controlling the amount of water output,from a tiny trickle,to full blast.I think you are right that the Ultimate Innovations has a decent blue color,and the grips look to be more substantial.I've been through a few nozzles,and it seems odd that so many are really lame.I've actually had good luck with the $4.99 pistol style from ACE.but I need the pattern set style like these for long term area watering.I think I'm going to track down the Bon Aire for the flow rate control.Take it easy,thank you

Thanks. Seems like the Ultimate with a separate shutoff on the quick connect would be the "ultimate" compromise?

I’ve used the same bon aire for over 15 years. Best nozzle if you are a gardener. And it’s also great for washing the car, etc. best spray variety hands down. Aluminum model.

those quick disconnects are going to cause galvanic corrosion. Get 100% brass or stainless instead.

Do you like those style nozzles better than the trigger style?

I do because every trigger nozzle I've ever owned leaked or broke prematurely. This style of nozzle leaves out unnecessary pivot points that could break or leak.

The Bonaire stainless steel model is the one to get. Not the aluminum. Much more durable.

Thank u for your input sir. My bonaire broke 1 year. Does it RESTRICT water. Count seconds to fill bucket with no nozzle. Now. Put nozzle on. Count seconds to fill bucket. How many seconds?? 40% less water "more efficient" is a death sentance for applications like gardening, filling containers etc. Does it restrict flow? How many more seconds does it take to fill a bucket? Biggest devil in humans history is making a gardner spend 4hours watering vs2. Most nozzles now say SAVES WATER! Which mean takes forever to water. Why nobody out there test restriction of flow???? How do some testers not test how far it sprays???? For gardening, and deciphering water PRESSURE? There is more to it then lazily washing a Mt. Bike and saying. "I dunno, i feel like this1 is better."
