It's 2020 and there's are rioters a few blocks from my church because of the murder of George Floyd. There are so many broken hearts out there. Lord have mercy on us all.
What happened to the verse at 2:30, "When the man said you are choking me and he cried out I cannot breathe." Instead it skips to the verse "the world is burning"...it can be heard on Amazon though...??
@@tripleL0810 Came here looking for that lyric specifically... But I read an article that explained they changed the lyric for the 2015 release of the Brother record... This video was recorded in 2014 so predates the change.
This song reminds of homeless people on the side of the road. “When you see us all alone? Can you hear us?” Referring to starving people begging for money. “Are you watching as your children die? Did your heart break?” Referring to parents who are struggling to raise their children (financially and physically.) “Can I see it in my soul? Can I see you? I’m alone. Can the blind have sight? When you see us all alone?” When people see you struggling in ANY type of way, are they blinded by the devil to not help you or “can the blind have sight?” And ACTUALLY HELP and make a difference in the world. We as humans can be so ignorant some times. So sad...
In a time where we need to trust God more than ever this song breaks my heart. When I hear It I think Lord does your heart break because instead of trusting you we doubt you? We live in a fallen world and as a result bad stuff happens, as bad as it is we have hope in Christ and he allows things to happen even though it may not make sense to us, but he is God and we must realize that his ways and thoughts are above are intellect in everyway. God bless to all those who want to believe God, but doubt. I pray you remember that God allowed his upright and Faithful Job to suffer and brought him out victorious.

every time I hear a song by The Brilliance I start to cry at how much they devote to there work, and god i have been listing since i was three. that's seven years.
Such a captivating song - watching each musician while being arrested by the lyrics just brings to reality that "His heart is touched by our weaknesses." A great arrangement - God bless you all for putting your gifts into God's service.

god said everything was good but there was one thing, just one thing that stood out to him it was us and you know what he said when he created us, he said "very good" then Adam and Eve did the one thing he asked the not to do. They ate the apple off the forbidden tree.and caused sin to take over earth, but did he not care for them anymore,no. He still watched over them.That's the kind of god we have. He fogives.
