Nothing wrong with holding oneself to a high standard. This music is hard. Anyone who wants to be good at anything at a high level is hard on him/herself. Also your art is great!

Certain things I can memorize very quickly, but other things I'm not able to memorize at all, no matter how many times I play or drill them 🤷‍♂. At a certain point I started telling myself those weren't "my tunes". Do certain tunes resonate or click with you more?
