Congratulations to CSLA for an outstanding testimonial to the integrated, interdisciplinary work of teacher-librarians. Hurray for including the students', classroom teachers', and administrators' voices in this piece. All 21st-century students, teachers, and principals deserve to collaborate with an effective teacher-librarian. Your video clearly shows the reasons why!

You pulled in some CA great experts in the field, but he students sold it for me.They nailed it. As a teacher librarian, this is the level of information literacy I hope all of our students graduate with!

Those of you who put together this video did a fantastic job of highlighting the importance of Teacher Librarians! And I'm excited to say that I have known most of you professionally or personally. during the course of my 36 year career as a TL. I loved seeing you all and thinking about the things I learned from you at conferences or interacting together. Lots of great memories, but happy to say that I'm still involved by teaching TL classes at Fresno Pacific Univ. Well done!

CSLA promotes the importance of Teacher Librarians in our California schools. We need more voices speaking out to help get the word out in school districts that don't hire Teacher Librarians because they are don't understand the importance to their students and teaching staff. We have our work cut out for us in California especially Southern California where there is need for more training and scholarship opportunities for overworked Library Media Technicians who are carrying the burden.
