WoodTurners Wonders
Wow! Now you can have CBN Wheels for your Tormek Grinder for LESS than the cost of stone wheels! THIS IS HUGE! Just think about it:
No dressing the wheel at all to true it up - Our CBN wheels never change shape.
No messy water to change - Our wheels are designed to run dry
No having to adjust your jigs for an ever shrinking wheel - Our CBN Tormek-style wheels stay at 10" x 2" (254 mm x 50.8 mm) in diameter forever!
No grinding for long periods of time - Our CBN wheels are aggressive and cut faster!
Now you can enjoy all the benefits of sharpening with CBN on your Tormek Grinder for less than the the cost of typical stone wheels. Discover what hundreds of other CBN users have found, and you will wonder why you waited so long!
These wheels are NOT DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH WATER
Spherical washers are NOT needed for 10" wheels.

Thank you!! I haven’t used my Tormek because I hate the smaller wheel and short work rest. I just ordered these, thank you!

I have bought two so far and am pleased with them! Would you show how you have the magnets set up to catch the carry over of metal dust? Great video!

Thank you so much, I am happy you enjoyed it. The magnets I use are stacked and setting behind the Tormek wheel. I have seen people hang the magnet above the wheel to catch metal dust in mid air. I use a shop vac to clean the magnets.

Great Video ............ well done. Could you let me know where you bought your 10" Leather Wheel that you are using on your Tormek knife sharpener in this video. Did you get it from WoodTurners Wonders as well as the 10" CBN Wheels as the base of the leather wheel seems to be the same color as what the CBN wheels have. If not could please let me know where you bought it and their contact details. I would appreciate it Wardog. Thanks in advance.

I notice you’re sharpening with the CBN wheel ‘edge trailing’ as opposed to ‘edge leading’. What is the purpose of this?
@WardogOutdoors
@WardogOutdoors 4 месяца назад
I am using a Forward Verticle Base with a 10" leather wheel that is the same diameter as the CBN wheels. I am able to switch from cbn to leather wheel for stropping with little to no adjustment.

Good Morning, I have a Tormek t4 and would like to get one of the Tornado Jr. 8" wheels. Problem is I can only afford one wheel right now. Would a 600 grit work well, as an all around wheel? I don't let my knives get extremely dull. Thank you

Good morning. A 400 or 600 would be a good wheel to start with and finish on the leather wheel. If I were to get only one I would go 400 then to a stropping wheel. Thank you for you question.

Why do you sharpen edge trailing ? Also, do use any diamond paste on the leather strop?
@WardogOutdoors
@WardogOutdoors 11 месяцев назад
So I can gp straight to the strop wheel without having to take change guide.

I have a green compound and some diamond emulsions. Some of my strops are coated, some I like to keep the leather natural.
