Dead diatoms are really useful. "Diatomaceous Earth" is used as a gritty material for some things, such as toothpaste back in the day before plastic microbeads became used... It also is great for killing insects like bed bugs by essentially dehydrating them to death if they walk over it as it sticks to them and absorbs their moisture.

I absolutely love how chunky your squirrels 🐿️ are!!! ♥️♥️♥️ They are so adorable! I had a pet squirrel 🐿️ when I was in college, and he was so sweet and smart and lovable. I still miss him even though he went to a sanctuary because that was where he needed to go, even though he had imprinted on me. He didn’t belong with me. His sister met a far worse fate, and that still makes me deeply sad to this day, well more than 30 years later.

The runway lights thing isn't strange, though maybe it may seem so to non-pilots. Usually, runway lights can be set to three different intensities (dim, medium, or high). And in many cases where there may not be a control tower, pilots can even adjust the light intensity themselves over the radio by clicking the microphone button multiple times. That's actually really fun to do - it's like a remote control for a massive area!

1) Unmanned airports normally have a frequency you can tune your radio to. When you break squelch on that frequency, the runway lights switch from low - high - off. 2) The guy with the bird impressions in incredible. 3) Get those squirrels used to coming to your house for food. Then go away for a week or two for vacation. When you get back, there's a good chance you'll discover why feeding squirrels is a bad idea.
