My uncle’s dachshund will actively look for the biggest leaf possible on walks and carry it home with her and be so proud of herself for finding the leaf.
The Jack Russel part is so true, mine has helped defend us from 3 different house robberies in his life with more bite than bark, now he's almost 14 years old and still going strong
I remember being at a dog park where a man was playing fetch with his two Rottweilers. A Jack Russel decided to join in and was trying to get the ball. That little dog nearly kept up with those Rotties. He was probably within a foot of getting the ball.
My daughter & SIL had a Chihuahua-JR mix & he was the best/worst of both breeds. Yappy as heck, but don't even try to enter if Mom & Dad don't introduce you first! Aptly named Brutus. 😅 RIP Bru. U r greatly missed. 😢
I had a JRT, Chihuahua, Corgi mix and he was the best, most affectionate, box of yappy energy I've ever seen. Sadly, he passed a couple years ago. I miss my little gremlin
It's funny my dog is a Cavapoo but acts like the Afghan Hound such the Mariah Carey diva of Cavapoos, lol. But has the sassy attitude like Malonois but smarter than a Golden Retriver.
As a 3 time greyhound owner, that is completely accurate. Even going into spring, she wants under the big blanket an i have now sacrificed my gilet for her
3 time greyhound owner here too, and can confirm coat is def required. Though 2/3 of mine would get the jacket on and then just stand outside the door and refuse the walk if it’s too cold. The 3rd is nuts so she would have set off in full zoom once the coat was on 😂
@@zadylady6406Oh I'm glad you wouldn't change him. Be happy you have a calm lil dude that doesn't annoy everyone with barking or howl when you tie them up outside the supermarket! I miss my little fella so much. Had him almost 17 years 💔
I've suffered through depression after my mother passed away and your videos about dogs are probably the only thing that makes me happy thank you very much for being a good person don't forget winter is coming forget winter is coming😂
and yet at the same time if you're their person they will crawl in your lap, or behind your legs if you're laying down give that little huff and just enjoy your company.@@jackwhitbread4583
Um also my poodle mixes. They are like kids on a snowday every time the white stuff comes down. .. Mom, can I go outside? (Plays til covered in balls of ice) (comes inside to lick paws and eat the ice) (10 minutes later) Mom, can I go outside?
Right 😂 our sweet girl passed away a few years ago. But my mom would call her "old lady" cuz she would stand at the glass door, bark at everything (esp cats) and when theyd get close she would run away screaming. The old lady thing cuz it was like a nosy old lady who was always b1tching about "those darn kids!) Lol
@@MexicanDogRL eat toy i bought destroyed by 1 hour... killed our teacup pomeranian by accident basically ran over him and broke his back. wants to fight our husky likes humping our beagle. and shes with me 24/7
No. When it drops below 70. But I once saw someone walking down the side of the road wearing the thickest winter jacket with the hood up, a scarf, gloves, thick pants, and winter boots. It was 75 degrees!
Jack Russell totally on point. My Irish Setter was scared of thunderstorms, so every storm my JR would guard the IS hiding space and growl or bark at every thunder clap. She was ready to fight Mother Nature
They're practically like cats in terms of being afraid others... (there have been cats attacking alligators, spiders, venomous snakes, and even bears... the do not care and have a reaction speed of 20 ms, for reference the fastest reaction speed measured in F1 is 40 ms...)
My Jack Russell is not afraid of anything. He’s always ready to go, doesn’t matter the size. He chased after a moose once in Wyoming, but luckily he was good with his recall that day and came right back when called. He won’t mess with cat, though, if the hiss at him….then I have to protect him
My saluki has a special dance for when a Jack Russell comes over to potentially kick her ass. If she had skirts she’d be lifting them up and trotting past
I had a pug puppy years ago that I felt concern about at New Year's Eve. I know fireworks scare some dogs but this pug puppy ran outside into the backyard, ran around and around in circles all around the yard, pausing every so often to bark at the fireworks.
@@karenalessio6837 Mine are only startled at first then it is attack time. Mine are loyal till the end and would lay down their lives for me. But at first they back away and bark..a lot! : )
Dude, I forgot you guys call Autumn 'Fall' and was waiting for something totally different to happen. I was laughing at myself for ages. I love your videos and the seem so accurate. 🤣🥰
I love Jack Russels!!! Also, hilarious!!! Our Boer Bull would hide in his bed while the Jack Russel would be outside chasing the thunder and lightning. 😂😂😂😂😂
The greyhound is spot on! I’ve adopted retired racers for 23 yrs and if I need a sweater (we’re in Alabama which is warm most of the yr) then he needs a sweater too. The freak occasional snow storm warrants, a tshirt, 2 fleece coats, a fleece snood to keep their ears warm and boots. They HATE getting their feet wet so rain is usually a no go until they can’t hold it s minute longer. Then we have to dry each paw off with a towel before they go back to bed to sleep. FYI they sleep 16-18 hrs a day due to their high metabolism. They really are couch potatoes!
Aww! Thank you for adopting rescued/retired Noodles!❤❤ They're the sweetest dogs and deserve the best life, especially after being forced to race. They're also goof balls. 😂 The Greyhound lean is very special too.❤❤
@@christawarrington3795 😅 (Actually, here where I live, fall and spring are the rainiest seasons - sometimes, winter also can be rainy - and, come to think of it, even summer - so that might pose a problem, because my doggy also really dislikes rain 😅)
The greyhound, lmao! Sweater weather has a new meaning when you have greyhounds and whippets. 😂 Guarantee the greyhounds have a better sweater and coat wardrobe than their humans do.
I can verify the fall energy, excitement uptick! Perfecto my friend❣️ every fall there was a day where you could just smell it and my two huskies on the walk would stop and sniff the air and then they were just like so energetic, turning circles on the leash, jumping in the air randomly trying to lunge forward like they were pulling a cart. They were just crazy with energy especially if the wind picked up and the leaves started blowing around them that excited them even more!!!
Yep but once the heat of the summer hits they are unstoppable. I have a jack chi and she is currently not happy with the weather but when it's like 90° F out she's running around the yard all day. During the winter she runs around the house.
My Kallpa (Irish wolfdog) is Jorge's best friend (the chihuhua is a soul of chaos) and sometimes I was assigned to take care of Jorge (his owner travels a lot for work and that's why they became friends)... it's funny when We went for a run in the park, a small dot that runs next to a giant speck
German shepherd - Doesn’t even notice. Is just concerned about Fall meaning less visual obstruction when staring out the windows to identify potential intruders. And sheds an entire extra German shepherd worth of hair that hooman is finding on and in EVERY. SINGLE. PLACE.
