My dog just got diagnosed with hemangiosarcomas today, shes very old and its very sad news but im really hoping she will make it for a while longer. This video was very informative and i will definitely try out some of the advice in this video to try and help her along
I’m so happy for Buddy and his parents. My dog was diagnosed with lymphoma around the same time as Buddy and he is also still here, eating a homemade keto diet (fatty fish, meat, eggs, some veg, no carbs at all as cancer feeds on glucose). They said with chemo he had 6-12 months. We did chemo for a year, it went into remission but when it came back we decided against more chemo as he had become so unwell with it. I do believe the diet has a lot to do with keeping our boy happy and as healthy as he can be with the lymphoma and slowing its growth as much as possible.
November of 2022 my lab mix was acting strange so I took her to the vet. Her stomach was extended and hard. The vet removed her spleen two days later. We got the results a week later of hemangiosarcoma. They told us she had maybe two months to live. We changed her to the farmers dog food and some supplements. We never did chemo. She is still with us and it's been 17 months. No one would even know she has cancer.
What a great share! It's a perfect example of how statistics do not apply to individuals and we should never think they do. our 6 yr golden went down on us couple weeks ago. We rush him to a hour and half hour away to a vet hospital where they said he had fluid around his heart in the sack. They kept him over night and drain the fluid so we went back the next day to pick him up and they told us we need to see a cardio and no one around was able to take him in till they call U of I and they said get her asap so we drove 3hrs to U of I and they took him in and drain some more fluid out of his sack and than told us he has a hemangiosarcoma tumor on his heart and it was bleeding. To this day he is doing chemo and radiation and we got him on turkey tail, Yunnan Baiyao , Beef liver , lean turkey breast and burger and vegies. We have ivermectin and fenbedazole to give him if the other treatments don't work.
My dog has a very rare cancer that acts like lymphoma. He is only 5 years old . And has so much life and fight left in him .we had to amputate his right leg due to the tumor going in his muscles . Now were they removed his leg there’s a tumor there the size of the average persons head. The tumors are starting to get lesions and opening of his skin and it smells so bad . I love him so much we just tried Tanovea. I’m praying for the best but I feel like if he didn’t have that tumor I’m talking about he would be so much happier and I think it would make his lifespan longer . Please help me
