I agree abd by the great way the puppies reacted to the rescuers, I take It the guard was feeding them and even playing with them! The puppies and mom were too much confortable with human contact to be their First time interacting with good humans.
@Chris Ruiz yea they might of said that but he deff wasn't using that lil guy as a guard dog.. the guard said don't take her because she has puppies he was obviously worried the dogs would be left without there mother.. It then says he showed them where the puppies were..
Ikr people are over here being all dramatic just because the guard talked Spanish and since lots of people do not they automatically think that he said something bad
@@mattheww239 It makes no sense. Nobody want such small dogs to this kind of duty (assuming puppies will be as short as their mom). If it was one of those Pit Bull mama and babies I would believe in this hypothesis, but not a tiny lap dog.
I'm a security guard and hats off to the security guy in the video. he has obviously been feeding the mum and putting down water for them. if he wasn't able to take them home he did the next best thing in making sure she was fed and they were safe. He was concerned they were going to be taken away and separated, he wasn't being a jobsworth. I'd have fought to protect them too if I couldn't take them home.
Illogical. Personally I'd have asked a few questions before telling them no. They ID'd themselves as animal rescue. "I want what's best for these dogs! Don't rescue them leave them to live in a trucking yard under shipping pallets!"
That guard did not want the puppies for himself. He just didn’t want the mom to be separated from her pups. He was concerned about the mom being far away from her babies. He was a good guy, just trying to look out for them.
feels bad for the guard,he was just trying to stop people from taking the mom away from her puppies, just rename the video, saying a good guard for the puppies
YOU DON’T KNOW THAT. Post some FACTS or just don’t say anything? PLEASE refer to the part of the VIDEO where he is shown to he “caring about this little Family”???
@@Hari-qb8rs tbh they are publicaly showing his face and distorted what he said in both the title and the description and randomly stated in the video he wanted one of the minuscule puppies as a guard dog????? A GUARD DOG. They straight out made that up for views and it's disgusting. If not, they didn't understand spanish and decided on the translation based only on racism
Donja Aboukhezaima we know nothing about the guard dog story. Just from a 1 second clip? He might have just wanted 1 dog. No reason to say he didn't let them in.
Donja- You didn't see the whole conversation, either, so you're concluding things. 1) The man didn't know they were rescuers. He didn't originally know that they knew the dog had puppies, and that they intended to take the puppies. We know that, because we're familiar with this channel, and we know the purpose of the organization and the video. But he clearly didn't know that. Don't assume that he knew. Any smart person in his shoes would have approached the rescuers and made sure they didn't just take the mom. That was the right thing to do. 2) Some people see a mother dog on the streets and take her, without thinking of looking for puppies (not professional rescuers, but just random people). Also, often when a dog has babies on the street, people take the puppies home, but leave the mom on the streets (that has happened before on this channel). So although a professional rescuer, or educated person, would always look for babies, it's not guaranteed that a mother dog still has her babies. 3) Nobody said the rescuers lied. She did say he wanted ONE puppy as a guard dog. However, there is a chance that she misunderstood him. Maybe he wanted one as a pet, but he doesn't speak english well. Or maybe they were speaking Spanish, and the rescuer, (no offense to her), might not speak Spanish well. This is clearly an older man who is probably from a Latin American country. Men there, especially from older generations, are taught to be macho and not show feelings. He probably really loved the dogs, and maybe wanted to keep one as a pet. But just said guard dog, because he was embarrassed to admit it, due to the macho mentality. Maybe he was just waiting for them to be weaned, then he would have taken one home, and found homes for the other pups. We don't know, so no reason to assume the worst about him. 4) There are selfish people in the world. But there is no proof that this man is one of them. He probably comes from a Latin American country, where many people are poor, and it's common for dogs to live on the streets. Most people there can't afford pets, and/or were never taught about the best way to raise dogs. So instead of judging him and labeling him as evil, why not just realize that he might be uneducated? As soon as they explained to him that they would find the dogs new homes, HE SHOWED THEM WHERE THEY WERE. He helped save their lives!! He could have kept the rescuers off the property and closed the gate. He could have hidden the puppies, and refused to hand them over. But HE DIDN'T. He HELPED the rescuers, by taking them to the puppies! He LET them take the puppies, even though it probably broke his heart, because he had probably grown attached to them. So STOP hating and judging. He did NOTHING WRONG.
Donja Aboukhezaima he knew nothing about them. He didn't know they were animal rescuers. All he knew where that they were saving the mom. Not hard to understand
Why make the guard the bad guy I understand Spanish and at 1:20 he said "No because she had puppies" so I think he thought they were taking away the mom without knowing she had puppies. He was just concerned about the dogs which I appreciate.
@@angelicakurzweil7794 My girlfriend is from Argentina. I am already learning Spanish because we go there often, and I use my bad Spanish in Argentina all the time so I can learn it. There is no other way to learn a language, unfortunately. You just have to go out and speak it which can be painful, embarrassing and tiring. This gentleman, who seems very kind, should learn and use English in the US. By all means speak Spanish as well, and any other languages you like, but learn English. Its not rude to say this, its rude NOT to say it.
They want to give them something irresistible so that the animal can be tempted closer. What "ethical" food item would you like them to use? Tofu? Oatmeal? Why don't you contact Eldad to get an estimate on how much money it would take to change what they use, then donate that much to make it work. Until then, you're just whining.
Skylar Godfrey no not all dogs, vegetables don't have a smell some dogs will eat it but others won't, unlike meat or chicken it haves a smell which attracts the dogs to eat it
+Peace Love Do you have any ideas as to what to do about those awful, unethical carnivores that are dogs' ancestors? Perhaps you could go out in the wild and reprogram all the wolves. And while you're at it, will you please retrain birds of prey. I have tiny dogs, and I do worry about their becoming meals for owls, hawks, eagles, etc. Once you've accomplished more ethical eating habits in the animal world, then come back here and give Hope for Paws all kinds of grief for their "unethical" lures. Until then, close-a you face-a (as we Italians often say).
Fabiana Menjívar I know, but I feel so helpless! I would just love to 'beam' myself back 20 years, and 'beam over' to help you😕😑 MANY years ago (35) I lived on a Greek island. I did my best to save 'roadside dogs', and unwanted cats. I had to leave with my 2 sons, due to a very unpleasant, and brutal husband. My heart broke when we left (escaped). Have been tormented since then with what I had to leave behind😯😐😢😢😢 Very long story, but we survived (single parent), and took in what we could. Now, so many years later, with grandchildren, I just try to survive with 'my girls'!😊, and don't want to 'give up again'! All love, and best wishes, Claire and 2 rescued dogs, and 2 rescued cats , Berlin, Germany 😊 😙 😙 😙
I was getting ready to get pissed at the guard until I realized he was trying to help. He didn't want you guys leaving without the puppies. Why you trying to make him the bad guy?
I don't get the impression they're trying to make him a bad guy. In fact, this video make me like the guy a lot. Obviously he had been caring for the pups and wasn't just going to let any yahoo off the streets take the dogs for unknown reasons. I like what he did. I would have done the same. He would have gave them a home there as "guard dogs" (barkers not attackers). But once he realized they knew what they were doing and were going to give the dogs a better life he led them to the pups.
OK, you made it sound like the guard was against the rescue, it's so misleading, he was just worried about the puppies & what you were going to do with them.
Donja Aboukhezaima he never tried to stop them idiot. You must not know Spanish. He said in Spanish she had puppies and to not forget them. Also we know he didn't call. Stop pulling stuff out your ass
Hey, okay, so the reason they put it like that in the title was a sort of "clickbait." It is misleading, but by putting it that way in the title, they will get more people to click on the video. "Clickbait" has become pretty big on youtube recently, and a lot of times it's frowned upon, but here I personally don't mind it; I know that by doing so, they're garnering more awareness for what's going on. I'm okay with that, even if it means sacrificing some dignity in the title for the sake of more views. But the more views they get, the more people become aware of organizations like these, the greater a chance someone who may have just never thought of helping or volunteering will do so; the more people who know that Hope for Paws exists will mean a higher chance of someone calling them if they see a stray.
I understand, but it's sorta a form of "clickbait;" because that's in the title, more people will click on the video. They want to bring as much attention and awareness to this as possible; so personally, I'm really okay with them click-baiting.
@Robert Gardea what the hell is wrong with you.. they are right hope for paws should change their name.. they did make an innocent mean look like an asshole.. and don't tell nobody to change their name your name is ugly too so shut the fuck up.. thx luv 🤭
I think people are misunderstanding the poor guard. Because of him no puppies were stolen by a bunch of kids. Sure maybe he didn't take them into his home but you don't know his living situations. He could be living in a no pets apartment or unable to pay the pet fee at the moment. He kept them safe and together. When I was young my family didn't know anything about rescues only "la perrera" and my dad said they just put down the dogs they caught. Perhaps he heard the same thing and was only afraid that the dogs would be put down. He was probably just trying to buy time for the dogs if he had doubts about who they were when he supposedly said the thing about the guard dog. I heard her say it but I didn't hear him.
@DZ actually if you listen very closely in 1:16 you can actually hear him say "no porque tiene perritos chiquitos", which literally translates to "no because she has puppies". Truth is it is very very difficult to hear and understand if you're not a native spanish speaker, but still he does say it.
Mama doggie and pups well fed!! Should of told the guard where they were so he could adopt!!! He obviously was taking care of & feeding them & loving on them! Look how used to human touch they all are. Beautiful rescue..but this day the loving guards heart 💔

Thank you, Mr. SECURITY GUARD! All of the thousands of ppl that have watched this video, really, REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR KINDNESS! @HopeForPaws, Please change the title of this video, it is CLICK BAIT & extremely UNFAIR. Thank you in advance, THE DONORS, VIEWERS & The RU-vid streets! The work you do is amazing, this video title is NOT!
Hope for paws thank you very much for saving the precious family. They are PRECIOUS everyday no matter what. They must be respected as they deserve INDEED. GO family GO babies!!!
Beautiful dog friendly and sweet look she got her puppies very good mommy thank you for sharing your beautiful pets love them all thank you Bless you all thank for your help
@@sztzn yes yes. if you WATCH the video you know what happens. but the title looks like the guard didnt want to help or allow help at all. how many people watch (or dont watch) over a title of the video? quite a few. so no, not everyone knows. they find out by watching the video. thats IF the title interested them. i came here thinking the guard was going to be a jerk, refusing to help, and making them figure out some other way to get the animals. because " the guard didn't want us there" when in reality that wasnt the case. which im glad it turned out that way. anyways. thank you for your opinion!
I’ve been watching so many of your videos lately and I always love seeing them, also thank you so much for the work you do. I know that you guys try to put interesting sounding titles to get people’s attention and that’s good and necessary but in this case you’re sacrificing someone’s dignity, you’re really doing that security guard wrong. At 1:17 he’s saying “no pero tiene perritos chiquitos” which roughly translates to “but she’s got babies” and clearly shows his concern for them and probably fear that you would only take the momma and leave the babies there. Doing something like that really doesn’t go too well with all the good things you do on a daily basis... but everyone makes mistakes sometimes so I’d suggest to maybe find a way to apologize and also change the title.
I think the guard just loved the dogs and didn't wanted you to take them away from him but realized the dogs were not in a better condition anyway so he agreed I feel sad for the guard now;-;
The guard clearly had some sort of relationship with the puppies I feel kinda bad for him he probably didn’t want to see them go as he soor them everyday at work
Lotta good it did them. Could of been killed anytime, taken by mean people anytime and he's saying no to an animal rescue? Nope. If he gave a damn, he'd of rescued them long ago, or at the least, called a rescue - not prevented one from helping the pups. Remember the black kids with Oreo and Cookie Monster? They clearly had a very strong connection with mother and pup, to the extent they were the only one's able to pick her up, but even being kids, they knew an animal rescue was the best place for them. That's caring, giving up something you love for a better life.
Skulls Ain't Dead I agree that the best thing for the dogs is to be with the rescuers, but I would like to clarify what the guard said (in spanish) "No, she has little puppies" meaning he did not want the rescuers to take away the Mom and leave the puppies behind. He was not stoping them from taking them away, he just wanted to make sure they would stay together (the dogs).
Skulls- I want to verify what Piggy said. The guard never said no to the animal rescue. He was making sure they didn't take the mom and leave the puppies without a mom. He didn't even know they were a rescue when he said that. And even though he probably loved them and felt sad to see them go, as soon as they explained they would find them good homes, he DID give them up for a better life. So he was a nice guy. The title makes it sound like he's a bad guy, so people got the wrong impression.
I think that the guard only wanted to protect them. For example, we have some homeless dogs in a near shopping center, we gave them food, water, love, warm. Of course we want them to have a home with a human, we want them to be all adopted but we are not going to give them to the first person who want them. We need to know what kind of people are going to take the dogs. The guard lead them to the puppies, so it doesnt seem like he didnt want the puppies and the mama to get a better life
