crazy peach most "destructive" dogs are board or their mind isn't being challenged enough regularly. When I was in school and my husband was working 55+hrs a week, we would come home to a destroyed house sometimes she would potty too (I was home to let her out, feed her, give her water...) when I was home I didn't have much time to play with her either, I'd talk to her and throw the ball for a few min but other than that not much challenging her mind. ya know the phrase "my dog ate my homework"? yeah, that wasn't a lie. I came home one day to my $150 shoes torn to shreds... that was the last straw so to speak (she's family, we would never ever give up on her) so I did some research. I saw something about boxers need their mind challenged, more research. agility, competitive obedience, nosework... and a whole slew of other dog sports. We picked nosework. Awesome! 1 day a week, NO more destructive behavior- even the rest of the week. Saturdays (class day) are awesome, she's soooo tired after class so she sleeps or is lazy most of the day. Long story short: enroll them in a mind challenging activity, you won't regret it.

My boxers have all loved the sea and you could barely get them out of it. Baths, on the other hand , were a whole different story 😂

JaySharp604 my boxer hates baths. She's barely 4 months old and we've taken her to the beach, little by little she's getting used to it. There was a tide once and their was basically a pool of water just a couple feet away from the actual ocean, she enjoyed that. Until I got her close to the ocean and a huge wave just body slammed her to the ground. Never again did she go near the ocean. 😂 my poor baby.
