Turmeric and ginger power works really well on humans with arthritis swollen joints....so well in facts, its better I found than Voltaren/ ibrubrofen, they only mask the pain...so turmeric (curcumin) and ginger must work on dogs too.

@@jcs6206 I think what it is the chemical dose rate per kg of animal, that kills them. The larger the beast the more of it you need to do harm. For example they say that grapes can kill dogs, my dog is a large Border (bossy) Collie, she weighs nearly 27 kg she has been found eating everything is from grapes, avocados nuts, to chocolates left on the table, yet she still alive and no side effects, she's nearly 15.
Pippy is the awesome dog. I love yellow labs! So easy going! I love it! Therapists can have a difficult time,pets and people also! This just shows it takes talent to get everyone on their feet/paws again!

Couple years ago my dog had displasia. Shi could not jump on one step of stairs. I started to give her glucosamine and chondroitin with MSM supplement for dogs. It has helped to her very good and she runs now without problems. l continue to give this supplement.

Mrs Domino try Goherogo.com they make custom leg braces for dogs that have a torn ccl ligament. I have a lab mix that has managed to tear both of hers, and yes, I have paid to surgically repair both legs. I also have a brace, and it worked well as an alternative.
Started using the CBD 3 on 4 of babies. #4 baby is only 5 months old.. So our oldest is Our kitty Lily, 17 in May. Cat Baloo Sweet Lily May be suffering from constipation from the raw food diet.. Try a little coconut oil 1/2 a teaspoon added to her food.. that could be the reason she is preferring the hard food !!

What do you suggest for a recent diagnosies for a maltipoo that turned 1 yr. old. He has bilateral thoracic limb agular limb deformites, incl. antebrachial procurvatum & bilateral carpal valgus. The cubital joints r mildly incongruent bilaterally, more prominent on the left. There is persistence of the humeral, radial, and ulnar physes bilaterally, through the left distal ulnar physis is less conspicious than that on the right.Osseous structures are within the normal limits. Thoracici limb musculature is normal in volume & symmetry.The incl. portions of the vertebral column & thorax are normal.Will this be very costly? I do have pet insurance up to $10,000 yearly, do I need to increase it?

Dr. Jones - I need your advice for my dog I have 5 yrs Rottweiler he is facing pain in his front left leg and puts apart while walking also he has pain in back legs we have been giving carprofen & steroids as per Local doctors advice but as soon as medicine stops he faces pain again. My dear Y-Y had a really bad elbow which sometimes she would come to me unable to use it. I would physio it and she could use it again. However Metacam destroyed her gut leaving her unable to digest food. Had to have her put down at 12. Vet ruined her gut because nothing was given to protect her gut such as Omeprazole., until it was way to late. Now I give G&C (herbal ) as a matter of cause. Thanks Dr Jones. Why don 't Vets think about the stomach when giving long term NSAIDs ? They should. I know of other dogs that have had same issue. Yoga pads are are great for building muscle and balance, you can add as much air as you like and it is safer then a board : )

Please do a video on canine hepatitis. My semi paralysed dog had emergency vet trip today and bloods and scan the results were hepatitis and inflamed gallbladder. I didn't even know dogs could get hepatitis. I say semi paralysed coz after spinal surgery 2 slipped discs after months of physio she can now move her legs. Cant walk unaided but she can move them by herself
@@VeterinarySecrets yeah she had a check up today and shes all better. She doesn't do well staying overnight in the vets she hold her urine in because I'm not there. She was in protest but thankfully was only 1 night in hospital this time

My standard goldendoodle started limping from front leg all of a sudden while on a walk and now he is barely putting weigjt in the front leg:( I been gently moving his leg in all directions and bending joints ans no pain at all but barely can put weigjt on it
Same as my girl! She’s a little over a year yelped when she jumped out of the truck and isn’t weight bearing :( watching this to see if she needs urgent care or if regular vet hours are ok to wait for as it’s 3am here
I am getting nervous my senior dog will be due for lymes, rabies, leptospirosis vaccine. I had titres done for other vaccines to eliminate them. My other dog had Cancer and passed away soon after rabies vaccine given. I had her on holistic cancer care and she was doing so well, completely devastated by this. I heard no titers for lepto and lyme. Any thoughts on this? Thank you so much .
@@VeterinarySecrets Thank you. I don't know how I will get around the mandatory rabies vaccine required by this county. The local vets do not seem to practice natural veterinary medicine, strongly urge to have vaccines. I need to find a natural, holistic vet.
What if it's a puppy miniature schnauzer? He's 11 weeks old and his left paw has a limp, he can walk on it but getting up from laying down on It he can't and he shakes from the pain
Dr. My dog is 7 years old (human years) and is a maltipoo female. They say her right leg has been diagnosed with arthritis. She was on some vet meds for the pain but I noticed that she’s not taking it great. I am trying out the CBD oil for dogs which is the first day on it. Any suggestions on how to get my dog to eat because she has not been eating right.
I'm so confused. Every video shows pain. A ortho vet dx my dog with grade 2 elbow dysplasia and OA (based on xray) and suggested synovetin. But he has no pain with ROM. He limps much more when he first gets up then gets better as he moves but started very suddenly 6 months ago.
I have had him on glucosamine/ chrondritin supplements x4 months but he is a 102lb pit/rot mix. He turns 5 tomorrow. Isn't he a little old to be dx with dysplasia
Our 11 month old Labrador Retriever chased a squirrel and started limping after. She isn’t sensitive to palpation, I can stretch and tug both limbs without discomfort. There is a little retraction on the right shoulder so I think that is which is bothering her. She didn’t yelp or cry when it happened. I’m thinking she strained it. It’s been two days, when do you think is a good time to go to the vet? If she tore a ligament or tendon I’m thinking she would be in much more pain. She still wants to play and go out but we are restricting her as much as possible.
I Have a similar issue at the moment with my 6 month old Corso. She has had a slight limp for the past 2 days. She was playing with my other dogs so I feel she may have a strain. What was the outcome for your pup?
Ive been treating dogs with CBD for almost 10yrs now. Currently have 7 of my own dogs on it right now. For arthritis a dog should take FULL SPECTRUM CBD orally(1-2/kg). Rubbing it on the fur is such a waste and totally ludicrous IMO
