@@brianjones6465 reptiles are absolutely capable of feelings they just express them differently. Hell look at fish where owners have put time and energy to bond with them some learn to recognize their owner. Humans just assume because they are scaly and don't have the ability to smile or don't behave as we do that they can't form bonds. Simply not true reptiles can form attachments they can be trained, and are beyond intelligent I say this first hand as someone who raised an Argentine black and white tegu. They don't show affection the same way we do, but they do show it. You can see this especiallt with species that are communal or can be communal.

Just like humans and animals can be assholes it always confuses me when people don’t notice that. Acting like they’re not out there murdering each other to eat . Deer kill things such as baby birds yet hunters get demonize even though they kill things in the most humane way possible animals are like humans and humans are like animals some humans you look at them and there is dumb as a door knob just like how you look at some dogs and you can tell not a thing is ticking in their brain intelligences after all is a sliding scale

It depends on the species for me, I definitely think there are reptiles that it’s better for their health and safety to just really invest in a large and well made natural habitat than to free roam But when it comes to medium to large reptiles that are calmer including bearded dragons I think being show to get around the house for certain periods of the day can be really good for them.

It's not unconditional love. I really wish people would learn what that means instead of just saying it because they think it means a more innocent love. Unconditional really means unconditional. If you start to beat and abuse a dog, it will stop loving you. That isn't unconditional. It stopped loving you when you'd tsrted treating it poorly. Jesus didn't stop loving us even though we condemned Him, sentenced Him to death, humiliated Him, and then executed Him. Despite everything we've done against Him, He still loves us. That's what unconditional love is.

I think i feel like this with my dogs, and 1 of my chickens.. lol i sort of feel like i know how they feel when im with them, like a bit beyond emotions, but not like reading their mind, its like a primal state of mind that we share

@@ssgssbeet4133 it's difficult to advice this to someone you don't know. I started with practicing the Steps to Knowledge. These practices did a lot to me. His book the One God liberated me from many doubt and fears. If you feel the growing uncertainty and change in the world today, maybe the book The Great Waves of Change is a good start for you. One thing to keep in mind. This is quite unique and to get somewhere you need to open yourself a bit. Trust me. It is worth it. After five years i still have no regrets and i still practice the Steps to Knowkege.

They’re great. I have had 5 over the years, my first two lived 14 years. I couldn’t believe it. The other ones were 8 and one is still alive, she’s 10 but lives with my friend now
