The Dog of wisdom was offered anything in the whole world, and he asked for nothing, because he already had everything he needed. Truly, he is the dog of wisdom
Could be a reference to the legendary meeting between Alexander the Great and the philosopher Diogenes the Cynic. Alexander: I come for your wisdom, teacher. I offer you anything in my power. Diogenes: Stand to the side, you are blocking my sunlight.
@@FunnyFallGuy papas means dads or patatos depending on the use and gatitos are just kittens so it would be daddy's kittens or ~daddy's potatoes~ Edit: I Meant potato's kittens
_"Dog of wisdom, you can have anything you want in the whole world."_ _"Thanks. Can I have nothing?"_ Diogenes could only dream of being as wisdompilled as this dog.
The dog breakdancing after saying “can I move?!” I was expecting him to yell at the dog of wisdom for asking him to move away, but that was a much better ending.
one of my good friends when we were in high school loved this series & whenever she was down, just saying "ba. hababa. hababa dagada." would instantly make her feel better. she passed away in 2020 from covid at the age of 22. i wish she was here to watch this lol. she'd love it.
I’m sorry that happened hope you’re doing better and she is finally getting the rest and peace she needs😇😌and sorry for your loss and sad that she didn’t get to see the 3rd and second one but she’s probably watching it in the clouds with the dog of wisdom
The “Can you move?” is a reference to the anecdote of Alexander the Great meeting Diogenes, the Ancient Greek philosopher. Alexander said he would grant him anything in the world, so Diogenes, a Stoic whose philosophy revolved around needing nothing, asked for him to move because he was blocking the sunlight. This take on it was unexpected.
Eight years later, the series hasn’t died. The dog of wisdom still gives us wisdom. The dog is still ‘ba’ing and ‘haba’ing and ‘hada’ing. Great work, Joe!
As someone who's unemployed and financially dependent on a family who's as tired of my existence as I am, I can relate. I don't need wisdom, I want money.
@blazeskyblaster1192 if you never flipped a burger or stayed 10h in a kitchen with both a boss/chef/supervisor and your own customers yelling at you, shut yo goddamn trap. These workers endure hell, and they deserve every penny they get. The work is so damaging that the raise won't even cover the medical expenses that come from poor work conditions and stress. And before you say something like "why don't they get a better job" let me enlighten you with the bizarre reality that some people have to choose affording rent over debt, because they don't have a support network to cover their studies for them to find better jobs.
Joe has this uncanny ability that allows him to make content that no one cares about, but if it's a sequel to one of his most beloved original content, then people flock to his channel in numbers. Honestly, I'm just glad he still has this spark within him.
When I was little I had constant nightmares to the point where I was terrified to go to sleep and would stay up until I was too exhausted to keep my eyes open. Finally when I was 6 years old I had my first good dream. I was in space and saw a dog waving and the dog legit looked like the dog of wisdom in these videos, although this was before these videos were ever made. The dog of wisdom saved me from my nightmares lmao
i love that the original Dog presumably went and became a genie with the ability to grant wishes, and then went and found the Dog of Wisdom to grant him a wish
I was watching this while waiting in line at a drive thru for a coffee. Within 10 seconds I thought, "I'll have to show this to my 10yo daughter when I get home, she'll love it." Then I realized it probably showed up in my recommendeds because it is exactly the kind of thing she watches on my account.
When Alexander the Great met Diogenes of Sinope, he offered Diogenes anything he desired. All Diogenes asked was for Alex to move out of the way of the nice, warm sun he was sitting in. And then Alex busted out some sick break dancing.
the dog of wisdom even asks: "can you move?" and i think it's a deliberate choice of words, because it can also be interpreted as "move away from the sun" not just move as in dance
Same thing that crossed my mind. There is also an absurd depiction of this even in the anime "Reign : The Conqueror" where Diogenes is played as a man's head on a dog, after welcoming Alexander to come into the universe within his barrel.
What _actually_ happened after that is just as funny. Alexander laughed and said "if I were not Alexander, I would wish to be Diogenes" Diogenes replied "if I were not Diogenes, I would still wish to be Diogenes"
This is truly an immpecible articulation of the truth of wisdom and desire. that greedy dog knew what was coming for him but was still able to grasp the truth. The dog was wisdom was able to break down NOT accepting the words of the stupid greedy dog. Thank you for your hard work Joe.
The addition of the greedy chiwawa is fascinating. Alongside an additional twist that the original wisdom seeking dog has become a wish granting dog, a truly remarkable way to renevate the franchise. It was at risk of becoming repetitive, but the new character alongside the role reversal of the wisdom dog itself is incredible, while still keeping to the original values of the first one. Truly spectacular, I can't wait to see number IV.
The Dog of Wisdom and his Disciple who is beloved by all are constantly being kept apart by the vicissitudes of the material universe, yet they shall always find each other when the world's need is greatest
I literally just discovered the first one four minutes ago then watched the second one only to see that this one has been released three hours ago. I have never felt more special.
I love how Pepper is in a different aircraft every episode. 1. Prop Plane 2. Airship 3. Magic Carpet And they’re all red! Edit: I realize the Airship is blue, I made a mistake. But her chair on the airship IS red.
I like it even more than usual because the Chihuahua looks so much like my Chihuahua (though mine has long hair) and it's his personality down to a T.. constantly wanting things, more, more, more food all the time even if he's had way too much. And barking at everything he hears with his baby bark.
well its finally out been waiting tons of years for this was the best episode ever dog of wisdom can already just get anything he need in a second finally. also it being low quaility makes it better love this series
Consider: The original Dog of Wisdom came out on July 23, 2015. Dog of Wisdom II came out on March 31 2023. That's a difference of eight years. It is now one year to the day DoW II came out. That's a wait 12.998% of the wait for the first DoW sequel. If this pattern continues, Dog of Wisdom IV will arrive in 47 days, about midway through May 17, 2024. The fifth Dog of Wisdom will drop less than a week later, just after midnight on May 23. Dog of Wisdom VI will come hurtling towards us ten minutes and eight seconds later. Dog of Wisdom VII is due 89 seconds later. Dog of Wisdom VIII? 11 seconds later. Dog of Wisdom IX will be posted exactly a second and a half after that. The better part of two hundred milliseconds later, Dog of Wisdom X will appear. DoW XI? 26 milliseconds after that. Wisdom scientists theorize that, based on what we call the "Overlapping Canine Wisdom Principle," or OCWP, this regress will cause diffraction along the forward axis of the spacetime continuum, creating a point at which infinite Wisdom consumes reality. Unless the donut theory of the shape of the universe proves to be true, in which case the OCWP demands that the Wisdom will be diffused infinitely across every point of existence. Basically: It's gonna be a ruff day.
If only we could get this to play in the war torn parts of the world... all war would stop. The world would be united under the banner of the Dog of Wisdom. It is a dream I have.
Back in September I moved in with my cousin's family. I'd never been around small children, hadn't the faintest clue how to babysit. What I did know was, whenever there was screaming and crying, Dog of Wisdom was there. Got a 2 and 3yo now preaching "happy happens" and learning emotional regulation. Could never have been millennials 🤷 Thanks Joe for being the dad alot of us didn't/don't get to have.
0:24 it's the way he gracefully floats up into the scenery of such a beautiful, perfect morning sky with his balloons peacefully swaying up-style and purple soft clouds while he's yapping every other second
"Cha... wawa...chawawa... shapapa... chawawa... chashshschacha... thachipwpi... thawapash... tapapapa... papasgatito... patatatao chawiwo wawawa chawawa A" so mental and such a good speech brings a tear😢😢😢
