Wesley was out kayaking in the middle of the ocean off the coast of Belize when he noticed something wagging its tail near a fishing shack on a deserted island. Watch how destiny brought this guy and a starving puppy together and the long journey they have to take to both get home.

He spend his last 36 hours in vacation with him. He made sure not to leave him alone again he had to hire somebody for the weekend , and felt sorry for the poor dog for bringing him from sunny beaches and sand to snow allover.... God bless him and may God bless America.

The trust this dog had with at the time a stranger, how he just sat on the kayak and knew he was safe, that was bittersweet. He is such a happy sweetheart and a tremendous thank you to all of those involved. Angels.

Btw don’t feed starving dogs a lot of food because it can kill them! Only feed them little per day so then they can get used to eating

Such an amazing story. He is just so happy and beautiful. I rescued a kitten no one wanted. She had severe conjuntivitis, upper respiratory infection, rail thin...now she is literally beautiful and my heart❤️

This is how I found my beautiful Irish Wolfhound mix. He was starving and following people with children in a shopping center. I knew he was sick because he was coughing, but I knew he was for me, and I took him to the vet for shots and heartworm treatment. I had him for a wonderful 13.5 years. Such a loving, loyal companion!

Sadly the rescues find dogs like this daily in the US. Some tied to trees in backyards, some dumped along the highway. I have two that were left in the country in Arkansas when the family moved and left them behind.

Can't imagine someone taking a dog there and leaving him. Perhaps he was there with someone and something befell the dogs owner. Would make sense to search the island for that persons remains.

Definitely destiny!! That's how I found my fur baby, he was dumped and left in the woods. Found him on my jogging trail. I instantly knew he was mine.
