Dog rescued from starvation- adopted! 

How this dog didn't die from being abused so badly is a mystery. You did a wonderful thing, turning his life around. Blessings to you.

It is amazing how "forgiving" dogs are. They don't deserve to be mistreated.

We now need to know what action is being taken or has been taken against the original owner. We all have a responsibility to ensure animal cruelty is taken seriously by law enforcement agencies and that means holding them accountable for their decisions whether to prosecute or not. If we do not, there is nothing to stop this owner from getting another animal and doing the same thing. Lovely to see wee Benji is doing well.

The real miracle is how the rescuers didn't fucking kill the owners. Wow. Honestly, I bow my head to all of you. Great job. Great dog.

Lost count of the amount of dog rescues I’ve watched & this one has hit me hard. Can’t comprehend the torment this baby went through up until his rescue. Thank goodness for the wonderful humans, AKA Earth Angels, who rescue & heal these babies outside & inside 🙏🏽❤️

My dog was also rescued from near-starvation. She was a skeleton when she was discovered by a local cop on patrol. Luckily, they found her and took her to a nearby Humane Society shelter. She was nursed back to health slowly, and a few months later, I adopted her. She is healthy, happy, gorgeous and active. She loves her life, and we love her!

So glad that Benji's love if finally getting returned to him. Hopefully Karma will take care of the previous owner.......something like rolling their car in -25C weather and being trapped in it for a week would be a good start.

How do you "forget" to feed your dog? My dog would follow me around, and stare me down, until all of her needs are met. But, I suppose if your tied up in the back yard all the time, your a little easier to ignore. Out of sight, out of mind. He is such a gorgeous dog...so glad you found him in time, and he has a loving human to take care of him. Don't people realize that a dog is willing to lay down his life to protect the ones he loves, and the ones who love him? My dog would fight to the death to protect me, and I would do the same for her. Keep up the great work!

I get so furious whenever I see animals suffering from extreme cruelty of humans. This is so detestable and unacceptable. My heart broke right away upon seeing the picture of this dog in so pitiful condition. I am happy and thankful that he was rescued and finally adopted and now living happily and comfortably in the home of a wonderful family.

Oh my God I just seen the story and I filled up a whole tissue watching it. Who the hell forgets to feed the dog?? Maybe we should get these people that left his dog there Shane them up and don't give him any food and water and let him sleep on cement see how they like it. He was punished for eating and he had stones thrown at him so he was for someones amusement. This or those people are extremely twisted to watch an animal become how he looks, emaciated and fearful. It is beautiful to see him play and actually be allowed to be a dog.

For me to witness such cruelty and hate put upon this beautiful soul who did NOT ask to be here or raised by such demonic people really brings me to a state of rage that is unbearable to let go of 😠 ugh... Seeing this dog struggling to walk, just literally skin and bones is so disturbing, the only saving grace is his rescuers and his adopter, and the vet of course. Thank God for these people. The POS who allowed this dog to get to this condition should have to stand on a busy street corner with big photos of the dog and signs saying what the owner allowed to happen. Then maybe that person will find out what it's like to have people throw rocks at you. Jackass.

In cases like that I think self justice won't be the badest thing... The laws are much to soft and lousy. Those bastards must pay some dollars and sometimes in jail for some weeks but this is still not enough 🤬🤬🤬 Stoning was a often practised penalty so why give it not back to the owner...
