Roman looks like he's going to grow up and start a shelter of his own some day, such a sweet well adjusted kid. I'm sure Roo could tell by scent that this is Romans dad and automatically knew he is the pack leader and gave him the love he deserved

I don't know why but Roman looks like the kid who was involved organising the Dog Adoption events all the way across the Country from around 4 years old, although he must be about 12 years old now, his name was Roman too so it probably is him

udaya Rekha I had to go back & watch the video in its entirety after reading you’re comment. I skipped too see the father dogs reaction when he arrived back from his tour. I don’t have children but was raised in a pretty strict household & I believe your child are what the parents basically raise them to be. What a great family.

I'm 'Super happy' watching this. You both have raised an incredible young man in Roman. What a mature, loving boy, a real leader too the way he presents the shelter dogs to potential adopters. Luna's reaction was heartwarming and it was so good to see Ru just fit in like a glove. Thank you, Dodo.

Who says animals don't have feelings. The way Luna cried when her daddy came home was amazing. & what an intuitive dog Ru is. She trusted her new dad immediately. I believe she was surrendered twice because she can't hear but you don't have to hear to give love & get love. 💜🐶🐶💜

It's so amazing how perceptive and keen dogs are to situations. Ru had never met him before yet she acted like she'd known him her whole life - she knew that was daddy & daddy is home now. Dogs are truly the greatest gift ever. I'd be lost without my Boxer, Pugzu and Pitbull. I love seeing other people who are as dedicated to their dogs as I am. It gives me faith in humanity.

My cheeks are hurting because I couldn’t stop smiling! I love this entire story; but there is something extra special about Roman. I loved seeing his videos with the dogs that always start with, “This is my friend...”. He is already doing so much more than a lot of adults in an effort to help shelter dogs. My husband is a truck driver. Out 3 months at a time. His dog, Chucky the truck driving chihuahua, developed a nervous fear and has to stay home now. The excitement we all go thru when dad comes home is amazing thanks to Chucky. He's daddy's little shadow when he's here and knows he always comes come.

Roman ran like a little human rocket, straight for his daddy!! The dogs followed suit! Luna loves her daddy so much! Roo seems to follow Luna's lead in welcoming home her new daddy! And wonderful mom is there to hold it all together until daddy comes home!! What a great family!! Praise God!!!

That little boy is the future of pet rescue. What a huge heart in such a little man! I'll bet he grows up to be a veterinarian/rescuer. What an angel, this whole family brought tears to my eyes. I grew up in a military family so I know how hard it is when they're gone, but they certainly seem to make the best of it all! Bless them.
