I don’t know the time frame of this story… but has reduced me to a pile of tears. Sox was a constant for loyalty, companionship and love. I recently sustained an hip fracture and have to start from the beginning to relearn to walk. I am inspired by you story so I can get home to my husband and my boy Murphy. I have 9 fractures due to scoliosis and osteo and the healing seems to be taking forever. Like nearly 2 years now. My Willow, a little beagle (now 13) rarely leaves my side. Blessings many to you both. They are so important in our lives…

I am the single mother of a wonderful daughter who always takes me on her work trips to amazing places. She had planned our adventures together up until 2038, and then I was unexpectedly diagnosed with two kinds of cancer. I have come through four surgeries and 16 chemotherapy sessions and am waiting to begin radiation. Reading your story makes me determined to get well and go on all those journeys. Incredible story. Nothing gets you down faster than not having your health. A lot of us older people living in pain get it. I cried with you when you guys made it to Alaska.
